The gutters? Well, there is smoke drawn in there.. so.. I guess I could color that, but it might end up making the whole piece a bit messy.

They're panels from a friend's comic. There's also prose and some other stuff to go with it. As I understand it, there's a city built over a huge underground lake of oil that's kept hot through a pact with demons. The people harvest food through the summer and autumn, then toss it into the boiling oil.. then live of whatever they can fish out during the winter.
