it is very cool looking but i have a question in afigth who would win Beast wars transmetal 2 Dinobot or Elvin Lied's mariko? My vote is Dinobot.

Dude. That's amazing. I, of all people, understand about the screen caps. In one he's dark blue and the next he's almost black and in the next he's silver. I don't think they could figure out what to do. I think you did a very good job. All I wanted was *NOT* the box art colors.

Ooh, the brushes really are different -- more subtle. I'm trying to decide if I really like the lack of tonality in the colors -- could you maybe try to make the lighter parts creamier, and the darker grey colors more bluish? o.o
Minor nitpick aside, I'm curious how you pulled off the weathered look -- did it represent much more time than you would normally spend on coloring?

I probably could. The breif was for show-accurate coloring, but because of his light and metallic colors, it's really hard to find a good pic of him that isn't being heavily affected by lighting.
And honestly? The weathered look actually was a result of FASTER coloring. I did the whole thing in an evening, which was nice.
