I introduce to you my tiny baby Rico! He currently 3 years but only 2 in this picture. He's a Chihuahua. We adopted on Craigslist, where he was just being passed around. We were his 4th home in a month! He's such a fantastic dog! I don't know why people kept getting rid of him. He had all sorts of hair loss from stress, mostly on his legs & ears. But now it's is doing & looking much better! I feed him high quality food & treats & shower him with love :]Related content

people are terrible for that these days.... i swear my aunt is probably the biggest animal horder i know and we finally managed to help find one of her dogs a home because she was chaining him and just leavning him to rot..... but the moment we got him to his new home... she LITERALLY already got another dog right back in his spot....
i finally called animal control on her....
and she tried to post on face book that she let all her dogs in at night and they shared a bed with her during cold times...
she knows i know shes lying becuase i lived next to her for 10 years and she never once paid any attention to those dogs. so she immediately removed her post when she realized i saw it lol
animals are living breathing beings and dont deserve to be tossed around like toys and hand me downs.... its nice to see rico found a forever home

Omg, that reminds of a kid at work today... He bought a hamster & the mom didn't like it so they were going to exchange it. But the kid liked that one. The mom got mad and left the kids at the store & they had to hang out for a half hour for someone else to come and get them! Then he gave the hamster a bath! Some people are just crazy... & it's sad the animals are the ones who get stuck with the poor treatment.

Hell I never even force chibi into my hand if he doesn't want to.
The best way to bond with any pet is to give it freedom of choice.
My dad had this hamster once that he...uh....well... gave it free roam and come and go from its tank. He added little hand made step letters for the hamster and it would leave its tank and explore the house and come back in the evening.
He thought he was doing it good but he wouldnt take our warnings...
And it ended up getting crushed in the fridge door because it was so use to mamaw feeding it food from the fridge when she was in there that it jumped up when she opened the fridge and she didnt see it...
It was a sad sad day for us that day

Poor little guy. I had a ferret that would roam the house. I had to put a litter box in every corner of the house because when he had to go, he had to go! Surprisingly he got along with the cat. I remember him stealing beanie babies & hoarding them under the couch!

They certainly do smell. Mine was named Stinky... Lol! He would steal clean socks on laundry day & hord them under the couch.
