ya i believe i have finished the initials/heart design.. took forever... but i believe i am happy with the result what do ya think?reason for the lines being differnt darknesses.. i began to go over in pen but decided to keep it in pencil.. i need to make another copy on clean un damaged paper so ill get a better picture then.. or i plan to at least

The pen and pencil combination creates a bit of contrast. I used to employ a smudging technique years ago where I would dip a shading brush into graphite and lightly outline my lettering and the like. Takes a bit to get the hang of controlling the shades, but the results are worth it. I like the design here, but could use a little shading to bring it to life. Similarly with the YH. Great design, but needs depth.

hmm that sounds like an interestign idea.. i shall have to try it... yai know what ya mean with needing depth or something.. that can be one of my next things to try lol
