Description
So, to go along with the all the other stuff I've made, I present the Type-2 Phaser of the 25th Century.In addition to the standard 16 settings found in the Type-2's of the TNG era, this model also includes additional power and beam configurations to allow for things like adapting it as a laser scalpel for field surgery to super-low intensity beams for simple crowd control. In addition, this phaser model has a integrated high-resolution biometric scanner. This would allow the user to set a genetic trigger lock to prevent friendly fire on fellow Starfleet personnel as well as assist in targeting specific types of life signs.

Yeah, I know. I could do something completely original, but I'm trying to make a transitional design that kinda bridges the Type 2 from the 24th century to that of the 29th century.
Thanks to the precedences of design in the Type 3's from DS9 and Voyager, and no references to later era models, I can pretty much go nuts if I decide to make one. .
