Description Immediately following the development of the Thunderbuck armor, the Royal Guard formed a new branch, dedicated to supplying and coordinating Thunderbuck Troopers. This division came to be known as the Foundation Force, and quickly earned a reputation for fast, efficient tactical responses and effective application of the Thunderbuck's superior firepower. It seemed like nothing could stand in the way of Equestria's Thunderbuck Troopers, but that changed at the Battle of the Crystal Bridge.

A contingent of Thunderbuck Troopers had been deployed to the Bridge, supplemented by several main battle tanks. Their mission was to hold the bridge against the Tyranid invasion, and at first it seemed to go well. However, a surprise night raid by Tyranid stealth units took out all of the tanks, leaving the Thunderbuck Troopers vulnerable in front of an advancing wall of Tyranid forces. It was at this point that an Earthpony engineer named Black Bit managed to retrieve two of the wrecked tanks' main guns, and jerry rig them onto the armor of two Thunderbuck Troopers. With the power of a tank's main accelerator cannon combined with the Thunderbuck armor's mobility, the Equestrian forces were able to hold the Crystal Bridge long enough for the towns behind them to be evacuated completely.

After the Battle of the Crystal Bridge, the Foundation Force commissioned the "Firebase" variant. The modifications made to the base armor began with the helmet, which received a hardened redundant communications module, a long-range awareness/targeting package, and an enhanced armor interface. This helmet design was designated "LR-TARGETING". The chestplate, designated "PLATFORM", has a modified reactor ring and a substantially reinforced spine and hip connector to support the weight of the Firebase variant's integrated artillery. In addition, the "STABILIZER" leg and boot sections have reinforced load-bearing systems and static stabilizer plates that deal effectively with recoil while the operator is not moving. All these modifications were made to enable the use of the Firebase variant's main weapon: it's medium-range tactical artillery piece, "AMA/CANNON". This short-barrel accelerator cannon launches 0.66 kg magically-augmented smart bolts at upwards of 1200 meters per second, giving it a maximum effective range well over 2 km when combined with the helmet's targeting and bolt-guidance systems. The only disadvantage to this system is the fact that maximum accuracy can only be achieved while the operator is immobile.

This one tears it, I freaking love your armor designs. The technical descriptions below are also awesome, I love the amount of detail you've put into this stuff. I think this one is probably my favorite, since it combines both an interesting story and awesome tech to create something that gives me ideas for my own brand of Power Armor for the campaign I'm running. If they ever get that far along, that kinda tech's not for a LONG time.

Anyway, just wanted to comment on how awesome this is, and let ya know you've earned another follower. Enjoy the Chaos!

Wow, your armor ideas are so good!
Quick thing for the request, do you think you could make some stealth/light armor for Zap and/or Camofire? Or do the request asking for your custom design of that MC skin?

Actually, I was already planning on making a stealth variant and a light variant.  The stealth variant will be designated "OPERATOR" and will use active and passive concealment systems to mask the user's presence, allowing for infiltration, data retrieval, and assassination missions.  The light variant will be designated "TACTICAL" and will use massively upgraded movement and control systems to allow the user to be everywhere at once on the battlefield, coordinating ally movements or engaging in melee combat with enemies.

So yes, I can actually do armor for both Zap and Camofire.  Do you want them to be in the same picture, or separate?  And which armor do you want for each OC?

Camofire: Best armor would be something similar, but only like using the base, of Fallout 3 Hellfire Armor fallout.wikia.com/wiki/File:Fo...
It'd be nice if he had a few spots where you could see him.
Zap: He's quick, stealthy, and damaging with electricity, so maybe something with a "Nighttime thunder" feeling. Staticy and dark, a little aerodynamic.

ALSO, If you would like to try to do all 6 of my OCs in one picture I could give armor detail for them too.

If you did Zap and Camofire i'd prefer it be different pictures, uploaded seperately, but if this is too hard I don't mind them being together.

Interesting.  I don't know if i can really replicate the Fallout style, but I'll try for the full-face-covering helmet design and whatnot.

I think all 6 together is a bit much right now, but I can definitely do Zap and Camofire separately.  I just wanted to know if they were supposed to be together or not.

No no no, I want to see his face for sure.

Well i'd like it seperate, not together, and that's fine about the six.
