man, this is super, SUPER inspiring. i'm an amateur sculptor trying to make a necromorph of my own - i had searched "dead space" on deviantart looking for sculptures but yours never came up. it's great that you posted it on the dead space boards - i'd never have seen it otherwise!
did you use an armature? is it freestanding or attached to a base?
the detail is really really awesome - i assume you're using a fine tool for all the muscle fibers. anyway, very neat!

haha thank you! im glad you feel so inspired. I used wire armature and some aluminum foil for the skeleton, and it is free-standing.
I used a needle for most of the detail, and it was basically just getting lost in the detail for hours and hours and hours....
