I had a struggle with the final detailed model of this thing. too big, too many polygons. It Kept crashing my zBrush app. I couldn't render out the passes to compose a colored final. But it's my future goal to get it accomplished. Just dunno when.

Try using some adobe products to color it. Photoshop, Illustrator.....

I do use photoshop to color, but only after zBrush renders out the different materials with lighting. If I color this in without that, it will look pretty flat, unless I just basically paint entirely over this image.

Have you tried using filters and masks? Like Overlay, Harden light, screen, multiply ect.?

I'd like to do more work on it. But the file is too big and it won't play nice. I'm annoyed.

I can only imagine. Ive got to get around to playing with that free version of zbrush I downloaded. I just know Im going to get hooked and drop some big money on the real deal.
