Here's my take on Rodan in that 'Legendary' style. Not actually a redesign, just a realistic approach. Showa influenced.RODAN © TOHO.

I like this design better than this other one I saw by a user who's name I don't remember at the moment. His design looked like the Xenomorph at the end of "Prometheus".

Looks better than he ever did in the Showa series honestly. Well...at least the Showa series, beside the 56 film. That will always be my favorite look for the bird. But you did a really good job at capturing his likeness. Love the fact that the beak is more integrated into the skin of the monster...as opposed to a hard cartoon like beak that a normal bird has.

HA yea, the original suit was best. Then there was so bug eyed thing that was silly looking. And fire rod an was kinda cool, but I felt it lost it's charm somewhere in the update.

Mothra is not next. Not that I have a set list or anything. I'm just doing what pops into my head for practice. Anguirus is coming, for sure. Mothra too, at some point.

possible. He's a favorite of mine as well. I'm just trying to figure out how to make him 'Legendary' without going full dinosaur. He's a tricky one, because he IS a dinosaur, but he's also a kaiju in the Godzilla universe, and he's gotta LOOK IT!

You could always make him some sort of rauisuchian! That'd preserve his dinosaurian features while giving you plenty of room to make him unique. That'd be especially interesting since the Legendary Godzilla appears to be a rauisuchian or something like one.

Well, from what we know of him he's a giant T-rex like Kaiju that can certainly dig even though it has small arms, and it possesses legs like a Kangaroo which it shows off with its infamous double-kick, and finally has a mouth full of sharp teeth, also, its body is often represented to have blue and yellow scales. Oh! And he has some scary freaking eyes.
