No we're not gonna waste another moment in this town...We won't look back the world is calling out...
Yeah, I was bored again and wanted to do something really quick, so I pulled this together. I might add a background later if I get the patience or time to do it. I had been listening to Simple Plan's new song "When I'm Gone" and thought that the chorus fit the boys very well.
This took about two hours give or take.. I wasn't really keeping track. I think I'm most likely going back and adding a background later...possibly tomorrow after school if I have time... and I'll re-update this one. Until then, hope everyone has a good week!

This is really good!!! But I can't help but think that this looks like one of the episodes of Ouran.....I forget whichone but it remends me of one of the poses that the Hitachiin twins do.......Still VERY good though.

I'm guessing it's his innocence and sensitivity that does it... after all...the people who like Kenji usually like him do to his arrogant, stuck-up, mischievous, naughty little personality. Lol. (oh...and if you didn't know... in the gallery folders I have of them and the other characters...there's a few little things I wrote up about them... I'll add to it all later...but if you wanna read, you're welcome to)

I've been at the mall with Logan seeing movies and stuff... and been up at my grandparents' house. 
I should be heading up to New Paltz soon actually!! (There's an awesome comic book and manga store up there that I definitely need to go back to and check out their manga...since they have a lot more than we do in Barnes and Noble and stuff...
Have you ever been in that comic book store? And...if you have... is that where you got your Yellow manga? (I need to know where to get the rest of them...since I only have Volume 1...
But yeah, that's what I've been doing lately... just so you know.

Wow, nice! Give me a shout once it's published, I'd love to have a read. I have an original story in the works featuring two Fred & George-ish twins as well. I'm not sure if you've heard of the Scottish Highland Clearances, but it takes place around that time period and it's going down along the Princess Mononoke line. Course, I won't be able to develop it much further for a long time - probably not until uni's well out of the way. The research is going to be a nightmare too, I'll be digging deep into the Edinburgh university vaults, but hopefully it will be worth it in the long run

Wow! That sounds so cool! And yes, research on certain topics for your works is VERY hard at times and takes up a lot of your time... but it really pays off in the end. I remember how much research I had to do for my story...

Researching is good practise for me in any case because I'll probably work as a researcher in tv for a few years (and after that, with any luck, I'll be filming documentaries). I'd ask you what your story is about, but then I'm too afraid that someone would see it and nick it for themselves. That's why I don't reveal much about the two projects I'm working on at the moment - I know how easy it is to have your work targeted online now

Lol. True... but that's why it pays to get things copywrited... even though it can be a tad bit costly. I just need to look for a good publisher now. I'm going to send it to a few of them... and then pick the best of who decides to do the job. As of now, I'm in the middle of editing a few minor details and getting it ready to go. I can't wait to finally get it sent out!

Lol. I will, don't you worry. Cait suggested a sunset WHICH was what was basically happening in this scene in the novel in the first place. So...off I got to make a sunset scene over the rooftops on NYC... were Kenji and Benji originally grew up anyway. Tehehe. This shall be fun!

very nice! you're very good at coloring and getting the shading and highlights right! I can never do that...

Lol. Yes, I do... but I don't know how well they will help you...
Umm... well, when you're done putting the basic colors down, take a darker shade of the color and add it where they would be on your picture. Then use the 'blur' tool to blur them all and then 'smudge' tool the areas you want to be stretched and faded and such... (you know what I mean??)
Then for the highlights, use (i call it a fuzzy brush
I hope that helps in some ways...

Hey, there's a program called the GIMP out there that is completely free and is almost like photoshop. (I can't say for sure, as I've never used the forementioned awe-inspired program. But I'm absolutely positive that GIMP > MS Paint! 
Oh, and I've also found brushes on DA that you can use for the gimp: [link]
Just don't ask me how to install them.
