Origins: As an unwanted pregnancy, whether from class circumstance or otherwise, Lazarus was left by his mother -an alleged native to the Spanish capitol Madrid - on the doorsteps of a Cathedral (Almudena Cathedral). From there he was raised by the residents and religious church-goers up until his mid-teens, where in the midst of his most rebellious stage he became acquainted to a sailor travelling inland to explore the Spanish wonders. It did not take long as all for Lazarus to become close friends with this Jayden Rose, and in even less time did the young man convince him to run away from the place he called home and join him in a life of adventure.

In the years spent seeing the world and sailing the seas alongside his friend, it took little time for the two to find romantic interest in each other and thus blossomed Flores' first relationship. With all the excitement of discovering new places, meeting new faces and delving into unchartered territory in their sexualities, Jayden and Lazarus hopped from one voyage to the next. That is until, one day, they came across a would-be infamous pirate by the name of Daniel Lee. Persuasive and dangerous as a siren, Lee managed to have himself some misadventures with these new friends and, eventually upon captaining his own ship, brought Lazarus into his employment. During this period Jayden's jealous side began to irk Flores, gradually making them both become distant and break off their relationship. What happened after leaving his past relationship behind on the docks to sail on a new ship is beyond Lazarus... sometimes he wonders if he'll ever come across him again; particially dreading it.

Presently, Lazarus still works on Lee's ship as a firm member of his crew. He puts his efforts forward to be a sort of voice of wisdom to his friend, but more often than not he finds he's called "boring" or "an old man". Some say Lazarus did mature a bit too quickly, but when one is out on the open waters, blood on his hands and gold lining his pockets from piritical raids, he considers it for the best. After all, he may buckle to the influence of his reckless best mate, but he sure as hell ain't going to die for him.

But, he may well end up doing so for someone else...
