Due to events in his past, Sol has lost a lot of weight and looks quite waifish. He is still muscular and strong, but not nearly as he used to be. His joints are very bony, especially on his hands and arms. His hair is a thick, curly, dark reddish-brown. His skin is tanned and his eyes are golden; one of the only things that changed about his appearance when he joined the circus.

Sol has a very strong, bright personality. He is a very confident person who has no problem telling others his true feelings. He can seem blunt and rude to some, but once you get to know him you will see what a passionate and social person he is. He is very whimsical, and can get lost in a daze for hours at a time. He usually doesn't remember these instances very well. He is also a very independent man, who hates being controlled or forced to do things by others. Yet at the same time, he is very flirtatious and romantic. He is ridiculously stubborn, and will never do anything he doesn't want to do. The man is extremely impatient, and could not sit still and quiet to save his lifeHe also is extremely self-critical, something he hates to admit.

Born the illegitimate son of a wealthy Spanish trader and ballerina, Sol lived his early life mostly alone and backstage. He amused himself by playing with the dancers' old pointe shoes and the company's props, or by simply watching his mother and the rest of the company practice and preform. He would try to emulate his mother; dancing in her footsteps as best he could. When he turned six, his mother began to formally train him, assuming that he would become a dancer like she was. Sol excelled in his lessons, and at age fifteen he joined the junior company of the ballet. He loved dancing, and he adored the spotlight. The boy excelled, and was promoted very quickly to principle. He practiced every day and night, and was the most dedicated student. He never once missed a rehearsal and every night he would get home late from dancing and fall right to bed, only to wake up before dawn the next day and dance once more.
[Adulthood]
When Sol turned 18, he officially joined the ranks of the company. They travelled and preformed in many different cities and countries, and Sol started to gain a little bit of fame. He loved the attention and the spotlight he was recieving, but the young man was beginning to feel like he had missed out on a lot in life. He had never had friends outside of the company and he wanted to desperately. He began going out a lot more at night, and one of the many things he was introduced to was opium, a highly addictive drug. It is essentially a more crude form of heroin, and was very popular in Europe and other countries around this time.
[Death]
His addiction to opium grew more and more severe, until he couldn't go more then a few hours in between hits. He began to lose a lot of weight and muscle, and he grew incredibly weak. He looked and felt like death, but he couldn't quit his addiction. Much to his dismay, the young man was kicked from the company. He spiraled into a bad cycle of depression, and his addiction to the drug grew even stronger. He died after collapsing in the street on his way home from the last ballet he ever saw, which happened to be Don Quixote.
[After Death]
He woke up in haze, his bony fingers clutching his head which throbbed in pain. He looked up, and saw a large hand reaching out at him through the pitch black. He was not surprised to hear the he had died, and assumed that he had been thrown into Hell. When the mysterious figure spoke, Sol's interest sparked.
"Wouldn't it be nice to have a second chance?"
He leaped up quickly, his energy coming back all of sudden, and his hands clasped the large one of the Ringmaster.
