Description
This is a sketch i thought of when i play and finish doom 3. Its the main character (right) named the errr... his name isn't even mentioned at all, lets call him the doom guy. and he is going face to face with one of the doom monsters, the hell knight.I wanted to put the final boss instead of the hell knight, but there are two problems, one is the monster move so much i can't get a clear screen shot of it, the second is that i don't want to kill the suspense to those still playing doom 3.
The sketch is done in some mix media, of pencil, charcoal, and a wee bit of photoshop.
the pencil is both on the hell knight and the doom guy.

and just make the sketch more darker for errie feeling with photoshop

Awesome drawing! really like how you caught Doomguys expression perfectly, also The way they're looking face to face like that reminds me of the cover art for Street Fighter: Alpha 2. Awesome work.

also.... the final boss is about three hundred feet tall, so to have him face to face with the doom marine... would be just dumb.

In the cutscene that begins the battle, he walks BETWEEN the legs of the final boss before he notices what he walked through. then looks up and it roars

Definitely a major improvement... Same with the Cacodemons, they look very different and only the large mouth remains from the original design of it.

Doom 3 is the best game ever, I want the expantion pack so bad, but I can't find it

haha, glad you're still trying your best in beating the nightmare mode. yea it was hell, cos the life will be decreasing, annoying as heck.
btw, the expansion, Resurrection of Evil, well think of it as a comeback to doom 2, you finally get the double barreled shotgun, i just got 1 complain, its short, but a fun ride.

Thats pretty much my sence when i play , i still play Doom3 even today , its graphics and the concepts ..Hell the whole Mars thing and the intire base models is absulotly Inpressive , nothing puts a good scare in this kinda way , Nice art bud .

I just read the Doom3 book and it actually gives the guy a name. It says his name is John Kane. But still, the Doom Guy is, in my opinon, more traditional. BTW that's an AWESOME drawing
