Having to hear that the live action movie for evangelion seem to take an unpredicted year, because the production house said that they don't have enough "salt" to make it yet. Ok, let them take their time...Meanwhile, thats Rei Ayanami of Neon Genesis Evangelion, done in photoshop.

I like it - it's a different treatment of Rei. I usually see her portrayed as cold and a bit mechanical - here she's like - sassy. Reminds me of Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell somehow. XD
Great heavy inking too - you deviated from Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's style but it still looks great. XD

Sadamoto... well... i believe he is the best at drawing Rei, and i salute him for that, i used his style? i didn't know that, but thanks again
you are right with something, everytime you see Rei, its like sad, cold, no feelings, and so on. It kinda annoys me also that they try to make her all cute and stuff like that. So i did her like a sassy and seductive (in a way).

I heard in the news that Weta Project is working on a live action movie for Evangelion. Weta Project are the makers of The Lord of The Ring movie, so the art will be great. But due to those amount of cash they need to work on this movie, they stop it for a while, until they reannounce it

Well, "The End of Evangelion" and "death/rebirth of Evangelion", to me, is whacked, totally confused me, but the whole series though is damn cool.
For Rei's hair, its completely photoshop, my tactic is to have the light hair at the bottom, then dark on top, then new layer, add a white line, then use smudge to rub it to shape.
