I got several requests of Cole from the game Infamous.I never played the game, but as I collected images for reference I got very interested in it C: The game looks very similar to Prototype...

prototype u play as a poison flying squirrel and infamous u play as an electric cat which apart from the wierd comic cutscenes in infamous theres little difference

They did. InFamous 2 will be released in 2011. Although Cole got a complete makeover, so he doesn't look like this anymore. I actually prefer his new look to his old one.

not to mention that their MIGHT be some additional elemental manipulation (such as Ice) but Lightning would still be his primary and best element

This is very nice, but it irks me to no end when people draw Cole without his stubble. It's hard to miss, and I think it actually makes him look better.

Infamous got much better ratings than Prototype....but its kinda like Uncharted 2 vs. Modern Warfare 2. They're both fantastic games but Modern Warfare 2 sold more copies due to it being multi-platform. As for characters...it's really based just on personal preference, and which console you own. If you have a PC or Xbox, you're probably going to vote for Alex. But if you're a PS3 gamer like myself, you'll probably go for Cole. Anyway, great job on this picture!!

This is so damn amazing. I've never played the game, but the images I've seen from various Game Informer magazines make me want to play it something bad. Not to mention the sexy. ;D

I like but I'll just point something out. In inFamous if you have red lightning you are evil and your outfit is dirty and ripped and you look all craggy. If you are good you have a clean and "perfect" outfit with blue/white lightning.

Hmm, I have played game either bad or good side but my PS3 d'had yellow light so GAME (shop where I bought it) guys replaced it with brand new PS3. But all my saves from inFamous gone ;(. And if talking about Cole with red lighting his costume gets black when he's bad and he's skin is also getting grey. Just to remind u

Beautiful! Glad you made it despite never having played it.
The most fundamental differences in the games is one is an action/hack-n-slash, and the other's a shooter.
But still many find tons of similarities in them.
I like both for different reasons and don't feel they can/should be compared due to the genre differences.

Yea, the games are similar to each other - Prototype and Infamous were both released around the same time, they're both sandboxes, and they both revolved around a character with immense powers. There's a few differences though. The feel I got from Prototype was just that it was another kill everything you see game, 'cept you can roam free and the storyline was blah. With Infamous, every action you made changed what happened to you, and the combat was more strategic. The storyline was much more phenomenal too. Unfortunetly, since Infamous was released for PS3 only, and Prototype stretched across all platforms and the game impressed people with Alex's kill-everything-powers (which is totally all that makes a good game, right? Kill all the bad guys..woo amazing game!!), I always hear people go "OMG PROTOTYPE ALEX MERCER MUCH BETTER!!!!11``1111ONE!!!"
Now that my rant's over...
For not playing the game, this is an amazing take on Cole! You've got the character pretty much spot on. Nice work - do play, if you ever get the chance.

Ello, awesome pic! also, ive played both prototype and infamous.. i played through prototype in like 6 hours .. i think infamous is alot better actually.. after i finished prototype i didnt feel like completing challanges in the city.. in infamous tho, i played through every mission in the game ( while playing good ) and i started playing as the evil guy again.. the variety is alot bigger in infamous and the replay value even bigger i think! the movement and everything is better too... this comment is pretty long by now.. anyways! even if prototype sold more.. infamous got higher score from magazines etc and its imo a better game <.<
