But! my theory is that its gonna be sorda like inFAMOUS like in the begginingt u can choose to be heller or mercer, or in the end alex kills heller and u get to play as Alex

My brother and me were thinking the same thing about the game, we both said:
"If we'd get the game, then when we're supposed to fight Alex then we're just gonna sit there and say 'We can't kill you Alex. We'll watch you kill James. :3"
*sigh* Activision... do SOMETHING right and make James have some sort of Ezio quote, like "killing you won't bring my family back", and then he commits SUICIDE 'cause that's what he was doing when Alex saved him. Then everyone will live HAPPILY EVER AFTER = D
Except for if this James guy gets fans <.> He's probably marysue-ish and none-badass.

heller FTW! Face it heller is a soldier, with his combat abilitys with the new virus powers...sorry mercer is pretty much done for. Plus heller seems more stronger than mercer was when he first got the powers, although we never was playing as mercer in the first place. Cause turns out, mercer was dead the moment blacklight killed him. I like mercer and all but face it, mercer was never good. I mean come on he kills civilians.

Mercer wasn't a hero. He was just after his memories and the truth. Whatever entered his path got killed. Simple as that.
Heller is a soldier, indeed. But you also forget that Mercer consumed an enourmous amount of soldiers, lieutenants, captains, and whatevers, and got their memories and skills. Heller is a great fighter, but Mercer has knowledge on armor, weapons, helicopters.
Also, he's linked with the Hive Mind, and prolly now commands some of the Infected.
What i expect is a great fight, and i hope, doesn't get neither of them killed, but instead, allied to fight Pariah.

I look at it the same way as Assassin's Creed. Altair was first, as was Alex Mercer. Sure Ezio had a lot more weapons and moves and so will Heller: but you just can't beat the original.

The artwork, as always, is amazing.
My problem with Prototype 2 is the apparent/disguised (as we don't know whether or not it's actually true) Character Derailment. I mean, it would not surprise me if they destroyed Alex's character development for their own means of giving the player the "Ultimate Power" feeling, because you know, NOBODY cares about story context and character development, right? I mean, seriously, what the hell is wrong with you if you care for actual content over having the ultimate power rush?
Seriously, I hope I'm wrong. Times like these I'm so glad for Game Fly. If I had the money for it...
