He eats dreams, and slurps out insides through that proboscis in his hand. So there must be some incentive that can be figured out there

Fidget Spinner... I can create one of those that is less fall apart-y.... ahhh.... I work at a military hospital, so I think I can get my hands on plenty of unwanted bits of soul and lots of unused brains.
I don't really dream, so i'll have to drive him through the city to find those juicy dreams from those that come to the city to "Live the dream!" Though maybe I can find something else he loves. I have kittens in the yard next door.

I rather adore the insect-like theme he has going on for him, from the iridescence to the
basis of designs, he's gorgeous dear friend. I really love the colors too, I would be
curious to know more about him.

Its not a very long story though, just a small part of one planet Eridu, in a much larger universe, so I'm not so far off having it finished. He's the antagonist for the most part, they move along strings in a thin dimension, eating dreams. His species are called Dream-weavers, which is a loose reference to the Orb-weaver spiders that hit me in the face here every time i walk outside in summer and they're the bane of my existence hehehΒ

But yes that is a fun idea, the notion of a spider and it's symbolism but that consumes
Dreams and thoughts, so it is a unique interpretation that further intrigues my mind.

Thank you so much! His armour is like an organic-looking version of the armour design I made for the furies way-back-when I first wrote them in scifi. So 'yes' hehehe some of it is him and some of it isnt him, the exposed spine is all his and his creepy beetle wings. scifi-fantasy ftw
