This has been completed for some time now, but it seems I only ever posted the photos to my website and IG. Anyways, here's my first ever original prop creation - the 00 Model 1. This helmet is modeled directly after my logo, and represents three solid years of concept design, modeling, 3D printing and all manor of associated labor. The project coincided with the purchase of my first 3D printer, so I used it as a means of cutting my teeth on the new hardware and process. The master was 3D printed, then it was detailed, finished, and molded. The final product here is a urethane resin casting. The eyes are Neopixel LEDs controlled by an Arduino Pro Trinket.
