Description
Ignore the missing lines, SketchUp made them dissappear from view when seen directly side on.Here's the thing in all it's entirety. The large red noodle between the fuel slug and the main loco is traction cabling, connecting the engines to the motors under the slug and also the dynamic brake connections from the main loco's traction motors to the dynamic grids mounted atop of the fuel tank.
Make sure to download and zoom in to see all the details properly. Also have a look around and tell me your thoughts ^.=.^ This has been one of the biggest things I have worked on and is by far the thing I am most proud of and satisfied with! I haven't been this happy with a design since, well the first time I figured out I could make trains in sketchup.

Well, this thing will keep track crews and rolling mills in business for quite a while.

I'd guess it's something like Co+Co Co+Co - Co+Co (I kinda' put it back to front, the fuel slug is meant to be on the back )

Well it's more clear view of the wheel arrangement then this screenshot

Heh, true. Is it bad if I stared at it for 10 minutes trying to figure the wheel arrangement?

You should put a little guy cutout next to one side, because even with the door as reference, that thing's absolutely massive looking. Really good work on it. How long is it?

That's... a good idea actually. I'll have to edit in a sillouette tomorrow
Thanks! Length wise, I'm not sure. I never really officially measured it but my guess would be something around 50 - 60 meters over couplers.

Pity its desiel rather than steam or my kingdom could use them, how are would it be to refit with compact water tube boiler and steam turbine?

What can I say? I have a big soft spot for diesel stuff
I think it'd be possible but you'd need a much larger fuel slug to carry water or possibly a condensing radiator system to recycle exhaust steam

"or possibly a condensing radiator system to recycle exhaust steam"
with a turbine that is the way to go they work best exhausting into one
