Description
Lunapocalypse is the DNA sample of the Brethren Moons, a space-faring species.

General Information:
The Brethren Moons' origins are a mystery, no one knows how they first started or where they came from. However, what is known is their relentless desire to conquer and consume all biological life across the universe through the use of devices known as "Markers"

Colossal in size and operating with the single minded desire to consume all life in the universe, the Brethren Moons are an extremely dangerous species to anything that gets their attention. Earth had learned this first hand when an expedition in the Arctic uncovered a towering black object buried under the snow. The Plumbers quickly learned of this and secured the device and brought it to the Plumber Base orbiting around the planet. Once again, Ben and Rook were called in case they would be needed, and they most certainly would.

It wasn't too long after the object arrived that things started to take a turn for the horrific. Ben's Omnitrix began acting sporadically, receiving strange transmissions and messages from seemingly nowhere while Ben himself began hearing voices in his head, asking him for assistance, this was soon followed by vivid hallucinations of the black structure, called a Marker and of monstrous looking undead creatures which would later be termed "Necromorphs" attacking Earth and killing everything they saw. Worse, the Necromorphs themselves were merely the heralds for the arrival of a greater threat: The Brethren Moons.

This was distressing enough on its own but unfortunately Ben wasn't the only one affected by his close proximity to the Marker. A few hours after, once Ben had explained his visions to Max and the head honchos of the Plumber Base, the alarms began sounding all around the Base, at first it was assumed it was a prison break, it was actually so much worse. Ben and Rook, joined by Gwen, Kevin and Lucy. Made their way way to the training rooms, where the source of the chaos originated, only to find a gruesome sight. Several Plumbers were dead, killed in a variety of brutal methods and left unceremoniously with their bodies beyond all recognition except for their badges.

The situation escalated a few hours later when a strange signal detected from the Marker caused the recently deceased bodies to reanimate and much to everyone's horror, mutated into monsters that barely looked anything close to their former selves. It was here the Omnitrix once again began to receive messages saying the same thing over and over again in a haunting loop.

"Make Us Whole"

The Plumbers were on the case quickly and put the monsters down, realizing they won't die permanently unless their limbs are blown off. No further casualties occurred but this was merely the calm before the storm when Ben suddenly experienced another hallucination, this time instead of an army of undead monsters, he found himself staring up and several large moon-like beings with gaping maws and thousands upon thousands of tentacles spewed out from the crusts of each moon. Ben (and Gwen who had linked herself to Ben's mind) learned what these creatures were:

"We are the Brethren Moons. We are awake now. We sense the Earth, We feel the Markers. We are hungry, We must consume. Show Us to Earth Ben Tennyson, Show Us the way. For each world We devour, We grow stronger, and a new Brother is born. Join Us Ben Tennyson! Be a beacon to a new age, ascend to godhood and BECOME Our new Brother! This is Our gift to you."

As soon as the vision ended, Ben and Gwen were noticeably shaken. As the two were questioned, many were surprised when Professor Paradox suddenly appeared in the Plumber Headquarters, though he wasn't alone because Azmuth, and surprisingly, Albedo, were with him. All three looked very serious, even afraid. Azmuth explained that he detected unusual activity from the Omnitrix and that Albedo contacted him directly over some disturbing news. Paradox, as usual had an ominous warning.

"Count the Moons. If there's more than one, prepare yourselves physically and mentally for a war that will determine the fate of the universe."

Later on, Azmuth decided to set up a temporary laboratory on Earth to closely monitor Ben and the Omnitrix as well as preparing Earth for planetary defense. The Marker had also stopped sending or receiving signals, rendering it inactive, for now at least. Meanwhile, he, Albedo and Ben had discovered something shocking, and disturbing within the Omnitrix.

A new DNA sample had appeared out of nowhere and despite Azmuth's attempts to remove it, the DNA sample could not be removed. This was the "Gift" the Brethren Moons had given Ben.

Weaknesses:
-Size. Lunapocalypse has been recorded as Ben's biggest transformation thus far, but that by itself comes with its own set of problems since the transformation seems to possess its own gravitational pull similar to Galileans (Gravattack's species).
-Hive Mind Vulnerability. Not so much a weakness for the transformation but more a weakness for Ben himself since the Brethren Moons are an incredibly intelligent and powerful species more than capable of corrupting others to do their bidding. For this reason Azmuth put extra failsafes to (hopefully) prevent the Brethren Moons from taking over Ben. Caution must still be exercised and the transformation used only in extreme cases if at all considering the risks.
