Description
Rubberhorror is the DNA sample of Cartoon Cat, a Cryptid that resembles an old cartoon character come to life, but not in a good way.

General Information:
Cryptids, mysterious beings that work in equally mysterious ways. Some are harmless, some are friendly but most sad to say, are extremely dangerous. None more so than Cartoon Cat, a monstrous depiction of an old timey cartoon character gone horribly wrong. Like most Cryptids, Cartoon Cat's origins are a mystery, little to no information can be found on its existence, save for a ghost story here and there. Though there were a few scant rumors surrounding Cartoon Cat, not a single could be proved unless the person doing the proving had a death wish. Which was how the Plumbers caught wind of this monster.

It started out as it usually did, disappearances, people going missing in the State of Wisconsin, all of them in or around an old abandoned mall that was left dilapidated two of three decades back. Whispers of a dark lanky creature skulking around the ruins of the mall reached the ear of the Plumbers, the Saturdays and most importantly, Ben himself. However, this Cryptid would prove to be a bigger threat than anyone could have known, including the Saturdays. Furthermore, Professor Paradox had suddenly teleported himself into the Plumber Base again, much like he did in the Necromorph Incident and later with Big Charlie's containment. This time though, he insisted on accompanying the team to the abandoned mall himself and even more surprising was he didn't come alone.

Behind him was Albedo, Julie, and Eunice. Paradox informed Ben that he'd be needing reinforcements to fight against this monster, not only that but he also outright said that this Cryptid wouldn't be the only threat they face today. With that information Ben called in several of his friends and allies including Gwen, Kevin, Rook, Kai and several high ranking Plumbers. To further their chances of victory, several heavily trained Plumber squads were ordered to accompany Ben and his team to the abandoned mall and aid them in subjugating the beast.

They would travel to the mall, set up a perimeter and charge straight in, there was no need for subtlety, Cartoon Cat already knew they were coming. How? That was something Ben would discover straight from the source of all this mayhem.

During the trip, Paradox gave them a general rundown of Cartoon Cat's abilities and disposition. To put things bluntly, Cartoon Cat was a creature both intelligent but sadistic. Whereas other Cryptids such as Siren Head attacked humans mostly out of a perceived trespasser on their territory and were others such as Bridge Worm and Train Eater attack and eat humans as prey for the sake of survival, whilst others prefer to just avoid humans altogether, Cartoon Cat has only one motive for hunting humans:

Fun. The single reason why Cartoon Cat goes after humans is for the pure sport of it. It loves to lure humans into it's territory and play a sick game of cat and mouse (guess who's the mouse) until they're consumed by fear and desperation. All the while Cartoon Cat will lurk into the shadows, often staying just out of sight, hiding in every nook and cranny, slowly whittling down the victim's sanity until he finally strikes, where the unfortunate soul is subjected to a grizzly death. Even worse, every sighting and photograph reported about him was intentional on Cartoon Cat's part simply so he could have more "Playmates" for his own amusement. And Ben is his latest chosen victim.

When it comes to Cartoon Cat's abilities, as per it's cartoonish appearance, it could stretch it's limbs to any length it chose and use them as weapons against it's victims. The tips of it's finger could elongate and sharpen into claws, it's equally sharp teeth could tear through flesh with ease. CC also proved impervious to most damage and all light is seemingly absorbed into it's pitch black body, which only makes it harder to see where it is. It is intelligent enough to understand human speech and even replicate vocabulary, with which it uses to further torment any poor souls caught in it's trap. On a side note, it also possessed an ability to manipulate space-time and distort the surrounding areas to mess with one's senses.

However, Cartoon Cat's full power would be seen in it's entirety when the assembled forces reached the mall and Ben went inside escorted by Gwen, Kevin and Rook. Albedo tailed behind, being given special permission from Azmuth to use a less powerful version of the Omnitrix, a prototype version. Eunice too followed, she was able to utilize the DNA from Primus' Codon Stream thanks to Azmuth's tinkering with her settings. But to the point, almost as soon as the group entered the mall, several old television screens lit up displaying the face of the monster in question.

Ben would always remember the horrible grin the beast had when it spoke a monologue, each word coming out with a different voice, whether male or female, young or old. Quite unnerving to say the least. Below is a transcript of what was said:

"So, you've come. Drawn in like insects to the light of power. I don't need to introduce myself and I need no introduction from you, Ben Tennyson. I've been waiting so long for you to arrive. I've gotten so bored of these boring people stumbling about in my home. I need a change of pace and you will the perfect thing to pass the time. Oh, by the way, all those previous that came here? Dead, ALL of them! It was hilarious watching their feeble little minds crack under the pressure. Y'know, sometimes I offer them a chance to escape, a bit of false hope that motivates them, only to watch as that hope fades and they give in to despair! And I see you've some extra special friends with you, maybe I'll let you live long enough to watch as I pick them off one by one until there's no one left. I think I'll save your cousin for last! That said why don't we play a little game hm? Let's play hide and seek, I hide and you seek! So, if you're ready, THEN COME TO ME!"

It can take a lot to make Ben truly angry, and threatening his loved ones is biggest mistake anybody can make, so if Cartoon Cat wanted a war, then it'd get one.

To skip over most details since there are too many to recount, the search for the entity itself lasted around five hours of searching through the mall top to bottom. Cartoon Cat was as devious as Paradox had told them it was and what's more is that when it had finally been cornered it did something nobody expected. It had summoned help. These summoned creatures were varied in shapes sizes, most taking on the form of misshapen human beings and corrupted animals. Ben had a inkling as to why this was, and Cartoon Cat confirmed it with an undeniable tone of glee in it's voice. They were the souls of the people it had killed, now acting as it's minions. With a command, the team engaged and the fight was on. Meanwhile outside, the Plumbers in battle with swarms of the abominations, attacking from all angles and pouring out of dark portals coming from who knows where. Back with the team, while Gwen, Kevin, Julie, Eunice and Rook were fighting for their lives against a monster that couldn't be harmed or killed, Ben and Albedo had come up with a plan. If they couldn't destroy Cartoon Cat, then they would seal it away forever and toss it into the lowest depths of the Null Void.

To do this, both Omnitrix wielders transformed into Alien X and began shifting reality around them. The air itself distorted, cracks through space and time formed as Cartoon Cat realized what they were doing and fought desperately to stop them. As the very foundations of the universe quaked, the two Celestialsapiens formed a prison around Cartoon Cat, trapping it in an orb made from condensed void energy wherein nothing, not even the most powerful beings in the universe could ever escape. After the battling subsided all every monster destroyed, the Cryptid's prison was taken by Paradox to be placed in the Null Void as planned. The Omnitrix had taken a sample of it's DNA and the worst seemed to be over.

Normally that would be where this tale ended. But just as everyone was about to leave, that's when IT happened...

The walls between universes weakened just enough for their universe to connect with another, Paradox felt the shift happen and wished Ben good luck for what was going to occur next. Suddenly, Max, whom had entered the mall earlier received a call from Plumber HQ about a mysterious doorway that apparently leads to another world and that a man dressed like a scientist had stepped through.

The man's name... Jack Bright. A scientist of the SCP Foundation.
