I love how Americans always falsely brag about them being the country who 'saved our asses' and won WWII on their own.

People who say this need to stick their unhealthy patriotism (not implying that all patriotism is bad) up their arses and pick up a fucking history book.

If anyone saved us, it was Russia. They were the ones who single-handedly forced the invading forces of Nazi Germany from western Russia, all the way back to Berlin, where they hoisted their flag over the city from the top of the Reichstag.

They did so, SO much more work in liberating Europe than any of the other allies, but I don't see the Ruskies bragging on about how they 'saved our asses'. Strange, huh?

Well, maybe it's because they're not bigoted arseholes who brag on about themselves as if they're the best, and seem to respect the fact that millions of British, French, Dutch, and other European soldiers died with dignity by fighting for their countries, instead of being 'saved'?

It's as if they have no regards for the sacrifices they made for their countries, and the other countries that were part of the Allied Forces.

Plus, out of all the things they could choose to brag about, like GDP, healthcare, democracy, they choose to brag about fucking WAR?! Are you serious?

If you're one of the people who actually believes in this utter shite, then you need a slap and a history book thrown at you, and you need to wipe the patriotism away from your eyes and see that you're fucking wrong.

I know not all Americans are this thick and big-headed, and actually , but if you honestly, you didn't fight in the fucking war. You weren't even alive during the war, so you have no ground to stand on when it comes to discussing what actually happened.

I may not have fought in it either, but if there's one thing we can be sure of, it's that America didn't fucking 'save our asses'.

To be honest, I reckon the soldiers who fought for the Allied Forces are turning in their graves, knowing that people are always, and I mean ALWAYS, saying this shit just to annoy the Brits, the French, etc. Our soldiers all did it together, brothers in arms, side by side. They didn't care who did the most work. They didn't squabble like children. They only focused on working together and achieving their common goal of defeating Nazi Germany, Imperialist Japan and Mussolini's Italy.

You cannot possibly deny that.
