For me, Leonard Nimoy the best part of the entire Transformers cartoon series. It was awesome to hear him as Galvatron! I'll always remember him as the ever powerful Galvatron, not as Spock.

I still remember his voice as Galvatron in the movie and kinda regret he didn't kept it on the TV series (even though Galvatron was complety insane back then XD). I also remember when he was on that Simpsons episode with the monorail (The cosmic ballet is on...sigh)

This is exactly how I'll remember Leo. Spock is understandably an iconic cultural icon, and I appreciate that. But Nemoy had a real on screen presence when he lent his voice as Galvatron, his vocal performance alone conveyed so much.

Indeed!!! Don't get me wrong, I love what Frank Welker did with him for the show, but in the show it was the crazy unstable Galvatron. Nemoy in the movie was downright ruthless and when he gave an order YOU LISTENED!!!
Besides, Wellker will always be Megatron to me.

No kidding, Galvatron took no prisoners, and Nemoy told the audience damn straight. I almost forgot, in fact, I never actually realised he voiced Sentinel Prime in Dark of the Moon 
I guess now he can join the other legends, like Lionel Stander and Orson Welles.
