Oh really. Then explain why all of those people LOOK the same, TALK the same, ACT the same, and most of all LIVE the same? It's obvious: They're too insecure to let younger or more inexperienced people be influenced by them, so they just immediately throw up a "god" card and act like "theyr karakturrs iz teh bestest evarrrr". Sound like something a sparkledog would say? That's because it is. You're essentially promoting a; the continuing degeneration of DeviantArt to the offline community by letting people act like the Batman shirt-wearing guy on here: [link] , and b; encouraging more of this crap: [link] . Because that's all it is. And if you wanna doubt me on this, go ahead. You'll be laughed at by virtually anyone outside your small little arrogant community. Have fun in Guantanamo Bay.

Blocking will get you nowhere.
Again, you don't seem to get it through your thick skull. There's a difference between being influenced and just plain ripping off an idea, but I guess you wouldn't know since your gallery is full of photos and buildings. Stop trying to change everyone else's opinion, because no matter what you say, it's not "influence". It's still ripping off, it's still disrespectful, and it's still fucking wrong. There's a line between making fan characters and making a character exactly like another and they and people have to understand that. By making a stamp like this it's encouraging people to use other ideas outside of the internet, away from other people's characters, because the world is full of inspiration. I made my own characters using the world around me so it shouldn't be that hard to do the same for others.
And if you don't get that, well that's fine. You'll just continue to unsuccessfully try to convert people to believe your bullshit perspective. Go find something better to do than shit talk about people you hardly know about a matters that's hardly important anyway.

I've been to art museums and such and I have to say, I agree with this person. I see what you mean by inspiration and tributes, but this stamp is not about that. It's about people who flat out copy someone's OC and claim it as thier own. You see? That's wrong.

I know the idea itself might be wrong but so many people have taken it the wrong way that it's just upturned itself and made everyone paranoid... Perhaps Chris-chan might be to blame for some of this?

Thankfully, I haven't run into this problem. Of course people sometimes draw my OCs, but they always ask me first.
