Criticize this type of paint can be a bit difficult as abstract art is even more personal than the "traditional" art.
The work gives me a sense of order, but also stress because of the straight lines and right angles. The maze design invites to follow the path, always starting from the largest white space, not knowing if it is the entry or exit of the maze.
It isn't common to see in DeviantArt this type of work done in oil, that's a plus. The technique is good, the colors are solid, and the shape of both, lines and the full maze are correct.
It is an excellent choice to use black and white to avoid any distraction or atmosphere that other color would have given to the work.
Another thing to highlight is the overall balance in the use of space and the gaps between the multiple forms that generate the lines.
Nice work .

Would this be considered a 4-dimensional maze?

That's such an intricate design, I found it hard to believe it isΒ a traditional painting. At first I thought it was something digital, like a fractal. Really nice work, I like how neat it is and the way it almost looks 3D

oh, is this really painted in oils?? cause it might have given some work!! to do all these lines so perfect and straight might have not been easy! it has a look of digital work, but i like it

Yes it is, It did stuff with my head and I often thought that I was painting on the wrong side of the line lol. I had to pull back have a coffee and continue on. If I did go outside my lines I used white paint to clean it up.

The patterns were designed very well. They mark the levels of 3d nicely.

These are Traditional. Maze 1 was hand drawn with pencil and pen. Maze 2 was done by hand with pencil and Oil paints. It's made my day to find someone who likes them. Thank you very much.
