- another annoying bug that gave me 2 sleepless nights is finally fixed! I'm talking about the exaggerated height of menu and toolbar in Open and Libre Office. Users... enjoy!

- the much awaited fix for the autoscroll mouse cursor in Firefox is here! It was the damn tooltip PNG in Explorer causing all the hassle. Glad I've finally fixed it! Still trying to fix the huge height of the button/toolbar of Open/Libre Office 3.3

- changed the selected item image in explorer and also the text color from white to black. The white text color was the same as in the details of items when searching in windows explorer which was pretty annoying, for someone using windows explorer.
- I've included another version in the package: bottom flat. What's that all about? It's a previous version of the taskbar which I like and kept alive. It's flat like you guessed and does not have that inner dark gradient that the normal version has. This works perfect on flat minimalistic wallpapers!

- Yes, another update... but it's a GOOD update!
- improved the Small Fonts versions: thinner window frames and also thinner scrollbars. Since some people have small resolutions on their display, I though this change would improve their experience and productivity using this theme, since the desktop space is so limited. Enjoy!

- fixed the undetermined progress bar... try checking for windows updates and you'll see what I mean! Thanks to iBest for the bug reporting!

- made some small modifications to the bottom taskbar version... added a pale dark gradient to give it a little depth. This will be more visible on simple wallpapers.

- fixed the bottom taskbar... now it's smooth as silk!
- removed the aero reflections... now the taskbar and the window frames are all cleaned (thanks to troubada for pointing this out).

How to:
1. Patch your system files and install the required fonts!
Be sure to patch your system files before you can use 3rd party windows themes. Use this tool to do it: www.windows7download.com/win7-…
Install the fonts found in the folder "Resources/Fonts"
2. Install the theme?
Copy the content of each folder inside the Theme folder to: "C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\" (Asuming that you're Windows 7 is installed on partition C)
3. Change the start orb?
Use Windows 7 Start Button Changer to change the start orb. You can find the needed tool here: www.door2windows.com/windows-7…
Launch Windows 7 Start Button Changer and choose the BMP from the "Resources/Start Orb - Leaf" folder and you're done!
4. Change the Windows Navigation buttons?
Use Windows 7 Navigation Buttons Customizer to change the Windows Navigation Buttons, resources available in the folder "Resources/Navigation Buttons"

5. Smooth Fonts like in OSX or Linux?

Your link seems to go to nowhere O_O. It actually doesn't work on my version the only one reported to work on Ultimate x64 6.1.6700 was UxStyle and it's not always reliable.

it's a multiupload link... you can download the file from 4 different site... how can you say it doesn't go anywhere?
and it works on your version... I have a newer version of windows: Windows 7 Ultimate Version 6.1.7601 and it works, so it has to work on your windows as well.
try disabling UAC before patching.

my UAC is always disabled and I got the link to work, and it says the files are patched. Both x64 and x86 files for WOW64 and normal 64. But still no custom themes will load. I tried many different patches and many different themes so it's not just yours. I also tried UxStyle Core and that didn't work either. Here are a few quotes about it.

This theme is GREAT!!
The only problem i have is with the toolbars of some programs, that when they are selected, i can't see what's written.

Look at the VLC interface... the red like i did, let you see the problem.
This problem is present only with active windows, see the background app (Yellow line), the toolbar is ok.
Am i the only one experiencing this?
Any chance to solve it?

I know about that issue with some software... but the problem is not in the theme but in the software.
VLC like many other software, refuse to use the standard Windows elements in their interface.
So there's nothing I can do about it... you could contact the VLC devs but I doubt they will do something about it.
That's why is so damn hard to make a windows theme using both dark and light elements.

I really like how the progress bar turned out and also the scroll bars.
And simplify doesn't have the previous problem with VLC and other software.

try some of my other themes as well... they are also pixel perfect... not a bug what so ever.
I've seen so many great yet incomplete themes... take Sereno by kiko11 for example... he left unskinned a bunch of elements that surface in various software like Total Commander for example which is my most used program... and the list goes one.

Have you ever tried doing some things with Rainmeter? I bet you could do a great job making some nice skins/widgets for rainmeter!

I've been modding in the past different rainmeter themes and elements but never did something from scratch.
and unfortunately I'm too busy to do any more customizing and I have no idea when I'll have the time for that... I guess I'm growing up you know!

I dont think this is bug, but it cause the menu bar of program : VLC player, Lytex hide (because the color of theme = the color of background menu bar)

Yes, it's not a bug... the problem is the poor UI coding of the software you mentioned. Not using the right Windows elements in their software the coders are making a big mistake.

hey! i realy like this and am trying to install it, ive installed custom visual styles before so i know how to do it and all and everything is patched and okie day, but when i copy the files to the resources folder and double click the .theme file the theme applies and nothing changes. the one thing i didnt do is install gdipp, is that necessary or am i doing something wrong?

don't double click on the .theme file... choose the theme from the themes menu (Rclick on the desktop>Personalize)

no i got it, you should double click on the theme file, but you have to take it out of the extra folder and what not and what not. Anywho great theme! lovin it! XD. Also for those people who get annoyed that the start orb changer sometimes doesnt work completely. There is a way to permanently change the orb. Just google "how to permanently change the windows start orb" and it should involve using a program called restorator.

I am stuck on step #2. I don't see the main .theme file to install. I see five folders in the "Theme" folder, but when I copy them all to the Windows theme folder nothing happens.

is there anyway to make the small icon combined taskbar buttons that little bit wider? I've been looking around in WSB but I cant seem to find the option. Thats the only thing that irks me about this style, otherwise its brilliant!

Even though it's awesome and nearly perfect, there's one thing that bothers me.
- The font in the chrome omnibar breaks the consistency. Could you please change it to either aller or ubuntu?
(or tell me how to do so myself?)
