I finally "upgraded" Windows to 1703 and have just set up themes again. Whenever I apply the square version, my screen goes black and I have to restart. This happens consistently. The round version works fine. Could you check the sq version again? Thanks!

I had the original archive that contained both 1703 and 16xx versions and had installed the 1703 versions with the included 970 KB shellstyle.dll. It came from the email you sent out to donators when you originally ported to 1703. This newer version with larger shellstyle.dll works fine. Thanks!

nice scam. This download pack contains only one file with link to his own page where he will try to charge money for it. I don't see anything about this in your description... Go ahead and download if you like to waste your time...

it's not a scam you ignorant person! making Windows themes takes time and effort... changing a dollar for something that took me weeks to make doesn't make sense of being a scam!
take a look in the comments section before shouting... you'll see that I give the themes for free to anyone asking nicely... which only take 2 seconds to do ask, right?

I used to make windows themes myself back then when window 7 was the latest (I even paid for an app to help me make this better). And it is hard to make but takes less time simply recoloring what you did here. It's not the point tho, the point is that your description says NOTHING about payment and why the hell download button at all if that contains nothing but a link? That's a scammer type of thing to do. Make a patreon or something in your profile but please stop sending deviantart users to other website. Top themes here are actual downloads accept yours.
Just tell me what do you expect when you click on a download button? Link? Bill? Tell me please. This is scamy

Check my gallery my friend and you'll see that I used to make Win7 themes as well using Windows Style Builder which is a paid software.
And trust me I don't just recolor stuff when it comes to win10 themes... I've sent you the Simplify 10 Light pack and you can open each theme in WSB to see how everything is made.
It's not my fault there's only a download option on devaintArt... btw I've removed it if that makes you happy!
And again, it's not a scam... I'm not deceiving anyone... and no one complained about this except you and I'm not sure what your problem is. I don't send people to malware websites or something...

I'm sorry, I can't see in your description that download contains only a link. That's the problem and scammy thing to do. And in that link the only way to get your download is through the donation button which is not donation anymore but a product you have to pay for.Β
You have nice work, you have a nice description just missing that part and if someone like me would complain you can point out that I wasn't reading description. No hard feelings but you didn't really replied on my question about what do you expect from download button.

I did answer your question... The download button was the only way to show the description in a nice way... I can't change the name of the button since there's no way to do that on deviantArt... I would change it to buy it here or something but I can't.
So this was my only option to do it... I did not do it in a scammy way because I don't want to trick anyone on buying anything and I don't promise something else.
Believe me I'm not getting rich from this or anything. I have a regular job you know. But it's enough to give me determination to make some more themes. This shows me that people really appreciate my work.
At first I gave all the themes for free and I have over 200 thousands downloads to my older Windows 7 and 8 themes but most of users didn't even left a "thank you" comment which was really disappointing to me.
So this was a way of getting some appreciation and keep me going.
