This is the second ballpoint speed drawing I did, also 45 minutes. Here is the hottness.Mmmm... Graffiti Girl.

I did a couple sets of flash a year or two back. Pirates and dragons. All in pencil.

You know, I just realized another good point to drawing all in pen... no smudgey led pencil icky-stuff on your hand and on the paper!!

I actually end up with more junk on my hands when I use ballpoint. I have to blot the pen every once in a while cause ink builds up there and if you aren't careful you get a huge glob of black ink on the paper. So I blot it on my finger. Occasionally I will smudge something cause the ink isn't dry. I'm pretty messy when I'm done, but I can usually keep the paper pretty clean.

Huh, interesting. Must be the kind of pen.. mine usually don't do that.. of course, I've just got crappy ones that aren't meant for drawing.

Yeah I can't use gel pens. I am convinced they suck. The build up on the tip is a result of moving the pen so fast.

There are always minor flaws. The trick is just not to make any mistakes big enough that anyone will notice. Takes lots of practice.
I would try a white paint pen or just fix it in Photoshop.
