Description *FULL VIEW OR NO VIEW*
Finally, 30+ hours and a nervous breakdown later a brand spankin' new piece is ready for submission. I actually finnished Saturday, but decided to submit after the holiday, even though most of my fans here are not American.

Before anyone asks: No I haven't seen Donnie Darko, and Yes it is on my list of movies to see.

11x14 paper, which turns out is a lot of space to fill up with a micron pen.

lol you have no idea how much I love this print
I've been getting into doing ink drawing, lately,
and the detail and textures you use are terrific.
The texture really is great to look at, thank you
posting it to see

I like this just from trying to imagine a story or mood or explanation, and the transparency is really impressive. A go-into-the-light-fav.

you are quite the artist. I particularly like the central blackness expressed within this piece. You are able to portray both darkness of content as well as softness of features. Nice work.

I actually used three pens, with different sized tips. Fortunately none of them dried up in the middle of this piece.

more like "alice in wonderland goes obscurely macabre and promiscuous". donnie darko didn't even pop into my mind.

and how the hell do you spell promiscuous....

anyway. i love it, and i'm not eve really sure why i love it. possibly because it's in black and white. i have a mild obsession with that.

nice job tho. quite a fantastic picture.

promiscuous is the correct spelling, you got it right. If you are a spelling nerd like me you can always double check at dictionary.com. Thanks for the compliments.

Whoa. You got featured. xD Can't belive I missed that. Reallt great job. Sorry for missing out on pimping you for this one. Its great. You can really catch the feeling of it. Probably because sometime during the 30+ hours you took for making yer DA fans happy... erhm. Well. Erhm. You see the time in the detail. The volume you give the pieces are amazing. Really gives the whole thing depth. As I have probably already said time and time again about j00r pieces. This one expecially looks as some sort of 'collage' or whatsitmacallits, in a good way. The layers are very pleasing. Nice result. Luff the scenery + detail.

I like the subtle implication in this pic; the girl is real, solid yet her chain tattoos are faded and ghost-like, while the ghost-rabbit’s chains are all too real. She has a solid key, useless for her own locks, but yet seems to be kind enough to offer freedom to the spirit whose locks can be undone.

The graveyard scene is also interesting, particularly the tomb in the background. There’s something about the shape of the door, with the XIII above, that reminds me of a Tarot card (Hanged Man? Hanging rabbit, at least – and perhaps Death, which is the poor creature’s state...)

Anyways, whether any of that was intentional on your part…*shrugs* But that’s what I get out of it, once I stop drooling over the eyecandy.

Oh, and if you had the patience to ink and stipple this all with a micron – you’re a god. Only a god would have such patience. The detail on the fur alone…! You must be a scary sight indeed while absorbed in the process – hours on hours on end with nose buried in work, pen smudges, and horded away with foodstuffs…

you seriously put a shitload (elephant's) work into this...

wait...(awkwardness)...(slowly looks up out of the corners of my eyes)...i'm creeped out by the eye in the clock...because i wasn't expecting it to suddenly dilate, blink, and go back to a solemn stare after our pupils met...(shivers)...

i love the girl's eyeshadow/eyelashes...and i want the bunny/rabbit's whisker mouth...with eyeshadow and whiskers i would be untop-able...i would be hella-hot...

above all, i love both their eyes...and the girl's tears...they both have a genuine "liquid" lifelike effect...which makes their emotions all the more real... ^_^
