Fur tutorial here :1. draw your eye and fill in the color. make a folder and name it ''Eyecolor'', put the eyecolor layer in the folder and name the layer ''1'' to keep track of it.
Personally I keep the pupil on the same layer as the linework so I wont make a extra separate layer for it.
2. Make a new map and name it ''Shadows'' or ''eyeshadows'' and put it above the linework layer. the linework layer should be righ bellow the eyeshading folder.
Make a new layer in the eyeshading folder and name it ''1'' to keep track of it.
Use a dark blue or some other dark color (note pure black) and lower the layer opacity of ''1'' and draw the shade on the eye.
3. go back to the ''eyeclor'' folder and create a new layer in it and name it ''2''.
colorpick the eyecolor and then select a lighter shade of it.
draw lightcolored fairly short but thick lines in a circle around the pupil. they should be on the middle of the iris and not touch the pupil or the outer iris line.
4. make a new layer in the eyecolor folder. name it ''3''. choose a color darker than the eyecolor base and draw lines right next to the pupil.
blur the ends a bit to make it look softer.
5. Do the same thing as step 4 but around the iris line. blur the ends a bit to make it look softer.
6. Make a new layer in the eyecolor folder, name it ''4''. pick white and draw reflections on the middle lines of the iris. dont do it all over, just a few lines.
blur them to make them look softer and blend in better.
7. make a new layer in the eyecolor folder, name it ''5''.
choose a lighter color than the eyecolor base and draw a thin circle around the pupil. it will create the illusion the pupil is like a hole.
8. make a new layer in the eyecolor folder and name it ''6''. use the base eyecolor and use a soft brush like airbrush and create a reflection on the pupil.
9. blur one end of ''6'' and try not to blur the line all they way thought. it should have a sharper edge on the other side.
10. go back to the ''eyeshadow'' folder and create a new layer, it should be on the top.
use white and draw a line over the eye.
11. Blur the white line from bellow and try to leave a sharp edge on the top.
12. add some more reflections if you want.
THe tearduct: Make a new folder on top of all the others and name it ''tearduct''
make a new layer in it and use white on low opacity to carefully make a highlight in the tearduct.
13. create a new layer with a bit higher opacity and keep defining the tearduct passage.
14. New layer with a bit more higher opacity.
15. make some white dots in the tearduct to make it look a bit wet.
add some soft shading to the eye with for example the airbrush tool.
at this point your eye should be done! I hope this was helpful!
