Fergus... that's a really strange way of trying to comfort someone. But... I guess you can't really hug him proper now can you? And your socially tone deaf nuzzling seems to have at least gotten him responsive. So thats good I guess....Maybe we'll get some answers now as to why Nule is being hunted.

Lol. That would be some extreme protectiveness.
Fergus is becoming more protective the deeper he gets sucked into this situation. He assumes that Nule is a dumb teenager who probably stole something really valuable and pissed off the wrong people. He doesn't want to let this kid get murdered over something like that.
But yeah, Nule is pretty cute. his neotenous charms are starting to work on Fergus, intensifying his protective instincts.
