Personality
Don't be fooled by his seemingly stern and reserved demeanor, this inkling is actually very caring and passionate, but only chooses to show it to few people. He hasn't found many friends in Rio Tokiyaki yet and goes out people seeing, staring longingly at the friendships he'd like to have.
He feels like he needs to be overly masculine to make up for his petite frame, even if he'd rather indulge in his more "feminine" interests.

Getting to know him takes some time, but is worth it in the end. He would take an inkshot for his friends and is always there to listen. Once comfortable enough with someone, he expresses himself a lot more, going from quiet and reserved to loud and proud. He wishes he could always let go and relax like how he is with friends, but the fear of rejection is very strong in him, making him cautious and careful.

Finn tends to get very nervous when someone mentions him being trans, even though he tries to be more proud of it. There is a fear deep down that he won't be accepted and shunned, which is what happened in past experiences. In fact, sometimes he'd rather people not know at all and often forgets that he put a patch on his favorite jacket.

He has set up a bunch of rules for himself of things that are too "feminine" to enjoy. When he finds himself expressing his love for these things he'll laugh it off as he puts himself down. It's a really bad habit that he needs to break.

History
-- This young inkling grew up in a small conservative town in the west, where everyone knew each other and gossiped hard. That's how Finn saw it anyways. He always had a hard time wrapping his head around why his business should be anyone else and hated this town with a passion. He liked to read magazines about the bigger cities far away from him. They seemed much more open, like no one knew your name unless you wanted them to, which seemed great to the inkling.

Finn figured out he was trans around the age of 10, everything just clicked once he found a name to his feeling, but sadly his family was not as supportive as he thought they would be.
Finn began drawing when he was 11 and started to express himself with art, every blank spot he found would get filled. Fights started to happen more often in the household, which led Finn to running out whenever he could and picking up a can of spray paint. When he wasn't painting on walls, he was drawing in his books. This was a good way to express himself as he was shutting down to the people he loved.

During these rough times there was his best friend, Skipper, who kept Finn going. He wasn't a complete loner. They met at his local coffee shop. Skipper was a flamboyant gay and very proud of it, which caught Finn's eye. Friendship was easy between the two, it was very easy to talk to one another and Skipper was actually the one to help Finn start appear more masculine, to his parents dismay.

His best friend moved away when Finn was 17. They are still great friend and talk to eachother every day, but now with the only thing keeping Finn in this town gone, he decided to make the steps to moving out.
After working his butt off at the local fast food joint, Finn saved up enough to move out to Rio Tokiyaki, telling his family that the next time he saw them, it would be fully as a man and by the time that happened, they better have opened their hearts to it. Finn believes they can do it. He just wanted to focus on his bright future from then on.

His dream with moving out to Rio Tokiyaki was to make a brand name for himself and create clothing made for trans youth and supporters of the lgbtq alike.

-- Anime - In secret, Finn watches a bunch of anime from way back then, enjoying the romantic ones the best!

- Would love to play Turf war more but due to Finn binding his chest, he starts to have a hard time breathing out on the field and is too self conscious to take it off for battles.
- Finn will shamelessly stare at anyone who he thinks is cool or would be a good friend. Has many friend-crushes.
- Loves plush toys, but didn't bring his collection with him to Rio Tokiyaki when he moved. He wants to seem more manly.
- Doesn't necessarily care that he's 4'9", only minds when the teasing pokes at his gender.
- Rarely is seen without his hair up. He hates when it's down and he hates his bangs, which he promptly ties up.
