The chilled water flowed around Nox as he held his ground, softly guiding the paddlepillar near him.
"There's another one coming, papa!" Toby exclaimed, doing the best to talk over the river. He took careful steps on his papa's back as he turned around and eyed the little bug floating his way.
"Gently pick it up once it gets close~" Nox said before looking over to the wyngling on shore.
"L, time for a pickup!"
L looked at the grownup and nodded, nearing the water to outstretch the pole towards him.
With a gentle scoop, the paddlepillar was in the net and nearing dry land.
