Description This is the Kelpie Summoning Ring. Each part is integral to the Adopting of and Interaction with Kelpies. It can be easily added to a belt or sash, to be kept with you at all times.

1. Summoning Rings - Allow you to claim up to two Kelpies per ring, one of each gender, which are then bound to you, and will only breed with each other. You may not claim a Kelpie without one.

2. Summoning Stones - Used to call up your Kelpies, for activities such as Breeding, Hoarding, Feature/Item Egg claiming, and other events. Participation in such is not available without one.

3. Dragon Charms - Each one represents a Kelpie, Orange for Girls, Blue for Boys. Upon the Adoption of a Kelpie, it will give you the appropriate one to be added to your Summoning Ring, to signify your new bond.

4. Example - Filled - An example of a Summoning Ring with Summoning Stone and Two Dragon Charms attached, in other words, a full one.

To obtain one: When a Summoning Ring or Stone becomes available, follow the instructions given with it. You can also find these through Fishing, Wading, and Beach Combing. And you can always try your luck with the Royals the Wishing Well, and Adventuring for one.
Sometimes they also go up for sale (rare). Cost is $2 for the Summoning Ring, and $5 for the Summoning Stone - When available!
If you purchase a Tailor Made, and have no slots on a Summoning Ring which the Kelpie could be bound to, you will get a new Ring free. If you DO have a slot where the Kelpie could be bound, but do not want it placed there, you will need to purchase a new Ring.

Remember, you can not Adopt a Kelpie Dragon without a Summoning Ring, and you can not Adopt more than one of each Gender per ring.

The first time I stopped by the agency and saw this, the first thing I said was, "I WANT ONE". Even before I knew what a kelpie was. I just wanted a ring like this, lol. Of course, now I want one for kelpie purposes too but I'd wear one in real life as a bit of jewelry as well.

It's much the same for us. When we went searching through stock for what we had in mind for the kelpie's charms, we stumbled across this and had to use it!

How do I get a summoning ring? Do I have to wait for one to show up? Or is there any other way to get one?

You could wait for one to become available, or you could ask someone else to send their Dragon to search for one for you. They will periodically be a prize at the Fairgrounds, too.

So I would have to ask someone to send their Dragon? Does this dragon has to be a Kelpie? Why can`t I sent my own Drakeys to search for one? Thanks for answering these questions - I just try to get through it, because I would really love to adopt a Kelpie. ^^

No problem. Kelpies live in the water, so you would have to have a Dragon which could go into the water to look for them, since only those seeking an Owner or already with one come up to the surface normally. The wild ones stay out of sight in the deeper portions. So if you had a Dragon who could go looking there, then yes you could send it, otherwise you could ask someone else who does. You could also make a wish at the proper Fate, and hope you get lucky.

We just left a comment about the same thing to Fiendpets, they were such an awesome toy to collect!

We used to collect them like squirrels with nuts, they had such great variety to them, and were sooo much fun! The big ones were our favorite, as well as the fancy godlfish, which (at least where we lived) were really hard to find.

I got mine at a shop in Sedona. I used to collect stones and some of my samples were only available as beads, so I'd visit the bead store frequently. They reminded me of this great piece that my mother had. It was a moving sculpture of sorts. Jointed like these small ones, but made of heavy metal and paua shell inlays. The tail was big enough to be used as a base and with the fish curled totally over to one side, the tail would support the weight. I was obsessed with that thing.
