"I do believe it may be more close to being a pot made of hair, Oceloe, than one which grows hair - tiz a bag or sack of sorts (a thing that can hold other things), perhaps made of some kind of woven thread. Or perhpas made of velvet; not quite sure if velvet is also woven threads though."

"True velvet comes from antlers, such as mine." Oceloe says, nodding as s/he tries to envision what you have described. "Though the cloth known by the same name, well that is certainly made of threads. Velvet is a type of woven tufted fabric in which the cut threads are evenly distributed, with a short dense pile, giving it a distinctive feel."

Welcome to Misty Vale, Deep Dragon. In honor of the story which has changed you during your time as a Pearl, I'd like to call you Oceloe after the girl in my new story, who was inspired by my dream. Oceloe is also a word for "Pearl", I believe. I love your velvety material, and the light blue strip; it reminds me of pearls

Feels the warmth from the Mystic Pearl. 'Hmm, guess it wouldn't hurt; well okay Mystic Pearl, I shall tell to yee the strange story of my dream - dreams make sense until you wake up, so that is why I say it'll be strange.'
"Well in my dream there were these paintings; and they were very special paintings, for they had pictures of buildings on them, all kinds of buildings from huts to sky scrapers, but all the paintings had doors in them. The doors served as secret maical pathways, and the person painting them in the dream to "give them to your enemies, as a means to secretly spy on them. But don't give them to your friends, for something bad might come through the secret passage." In one particular painting, there was a child-like girl dressed in the shiniest golden armour, and white pearlescent wings on her helmet. Her eyes were bright and friendly. In the painting, she stood on the edge of a deep causeway filled with dark blue water; she stared out from the painting, as though looking at the viewer. A boy walked up to the painting, and looked suspiciously at her. He pulled a pearl from his pocket, and put it up to the painting, touching the water beside the golden armoured girl. Amazingly, the pearl entered the painting and dropped into the water! Perhaps more amazingly, the golden armoured girl came to life, with an expression of great joy; her white wings flipped up and down, and then she dived into the water after the pearl. Whe she retrieved it, she came out of the painting; it turned out she was a water spirit, who could be summoned with the offering of a single pearl. Unfortunately, the spirit had been hiding; the magical painting was her sanctuary, but having been summoned, she could no longer stay in the painting for fear of being found - by who, or what, she did not specify. So the girl hung around with the boy, who was quite suspicious of her, thinking her to be evil, despite having been the one to summon her. Together they walked around with a class who was on a tour; the water spirit tried to blend in, to look human. She feared being discovered. The class was looking at a water feature, a deep well with a seemingly endless bottom. The boy, sick of the strange girl following him, threw another pearl into the well. Everyone in the class stared at the girl as the white wings on her helmet flipped up and down, and her armour sparkled. She dove with elegance superior to that of a human, into the well; she could not control her actions. She had to fetch the pearl. Everyone in the class now suspected the girl, and she was forced to abandon them and look for another sanctuary. He trek led her deep into the city, where nothing like her painting existed. It was piuring down rain, and the dim orange lights were strange; despite being a water spirit, the rain of the city was not comforting. She entered a large building, but the labyrinth of doors and corridors consumed her; no one ever saw exit. The water spirit was lost forever. The End"
"I was thinking of forming this into a proper story, one with a bit more of a solid plot and ending (being a dream, it was difficult to remember some of the parts). But I hope you found it somewhat entertaining. Perhaps it'll give you something to think about too, while you are waiting to transform; maybe you could think of your own ending. It seemed like a sad story to me in my dream, but I like to hope the water spirit found another painting. Being lost in a building forever is pretty unfortunate."

(Thank you; I've certainly been inspired by the dream, and another similar one [about another water spirit, who can can form mist and dew, and make the temperature drop; though that spirit was influenced by one of my DBZ characters, so it wasn't as spontaneous as the golden armoured dream]. I'll be sure to try and storyorize it! I got some writing projects I want to finish first [one of them being the editing of the fan fiction about the Chubb - I've been a bit slack and not gotten my lazy butt around to doing that yet]. But it has been put on my list of dream-influenced story ideas, so I don't forget the details. I'm very flattered that you'd like to read it! If I do get it finished while yous are away, I'll send it to your email [on the off chance you might get to check it; and also because it may be involved in a story I'd like to try and get published, and so I might not post it on DA]).
