Description I finally finished a piece of fan art I wanted to make for the new Ghostbusters Movie last month. I really liked the movie. To me the movie was a good blend of being original while also having classic features from the original movie. I also loved how they made new and unique gadgets for each of the girls. I can't wait to see it again. ^^

I originally did the sketch version of this piece right after seeing the movie, but I ended up getting a weird stupid case of art block which kept me from doing any random art work other than my Donna Comic and Commissions. I finally found the motivation to finish this piece. ^^

Hope you like the girls in my style. ^^

One of the best things is that Patty is established early on, like how Winston was supposed to be.

Haven't seen the movie, but wouldn't mind seeing such. Heck, never got to watch much of the original cartoons for the GB series too, though I liked the few I saw. Saw the original movies though and enjoyed them, way back when.

Nice, I admit the movie itself I am indifferent to though. I liked the original and even the second one but I never seen a movie with any of the actors involved in the new one that I liked. I also admit was turned off by the negative attention and the films negative defenders along with Sony's  marketing strategy but if others can enjoy it more power to them, we don't all have to like the same things and find the same things funny.

Technically, not their marketing strategy but the marketing company's strategy. Seriously, marketing is not done by the production company or even the distributors. Add in the fact that comedies are hard to make commercials and even trailers for. Look it up. Better yet, look at this: medium.com/@tonyszhou/the-trai… Also, let's not forget what other things had detractors. For example, Snow White and The Seven Dwarves. There were so many persons counting Walt and his team out. Star Wars also counts. Fox was the only company that was willing to take a risk on George Lucas's idea. Time and time again it has been proven that detractors are often wrong.

So you do not like: Walk Hard The Dewey Cox Story, Knocked Up, Semi-Pro, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, MacGruber, Date Night, How To Train Your Dragon, Paul, Despicable Me, Bridesmaids, Her (aka Waifu: The Movie), Despicable Me 2, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Anchorman 2, The Skeleton Twins, How To Train Your Dragon 2, Welcome To Me, The Martian, Nasty Baby, the Thor movies, the Avengers movies, Zoolander 2, National Security, A Guy Thing, Gangsta Rap, Lottery Ticket, House Arrest, Trainwreck, Life Partners, Balls Out, Ted 2, The Angry Birds Movie, Sisters, Staten Island Summer, Finding Dory, Charlie's Angels, Disney's The Kid, Pumpkin, Kim Possible: The Secret Files, Chicken Party, The Nines, Just Add Water, Pretty Ugly People, The Back-Up Plan, Life As We Know It, Identity Thief, The Hangover Part III, Tammy,  This Is 40, St. Vincent, Spy, The Boss, Central Intelligence, The Godfather Part III, Internal Affairs, Stand and Deliver, When A Man Loves A Woman, Ocean's Eleven (Twelve and Thirteen), Twisted,  Smokin' Aces, City Island, Rio 2, Let's Be Cops, La Linea, Open Road, A Dark Truth, For Greater Glory, Across The Line, The Lazarus Child, The Lost City, Dangerous Minds, The Untouchables, Star Trek, Ca$h, The Cabin In The Woods, Rush, Black Hat, Vacation, In The Heart of The Sea, Last Action Hero, China Moon, Black and White, Ali G Indahouse, Underworld: Awakening, Dracula Untold, The Imitation Game, Victor Frankenstein, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, I Think I Love My Wife, The Incredible Hulk, Miracle at St. Anna, The Road, Brooklyn's Finest, 12 Years A Slave, Snitch, The Gambler, Elf, School For Scoundrels, Step Brothers, I Love You Man, Role Models, The Hangover, Due Date, Ted, Get Hard, Drillbit Taylor, Starsky & Hutch, The Heat, Austin Powers In Goldmember, Leprechaun 2, Beavis and Butthead Do America, Dear God, Jerry Maguire, Rescue Dawn, Balls of Fury, God Bless America, Cowboys & Aliens, The Ugly Truth, The Invention of Lying, St. Vincent, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Largo, or Sex Tape?

Also, it should be noted that every person that goes to see this new Ghostbusters is just more proof that Jenny McCarthy was wrong. To elaborate, back when Melissa served as a production assistant on Jenny's sketch comedy, she told Melissa that the lady would have to lose weight in order to make it in Tinseltown, albeit it was harsher than what I put. Who's laughing now, eh?

In case of tl;dr, don't listen to the haters. This is in fact a worthy successor, and as a fan of the original I must admit that in some ways the reboot is superior. Also, Harold Ramis himself would have been open to the reboot.

I liked Despicable Me and a few other movies on that list but most of them held no interest for me but that is fine, different people have different tastes and if other people enjoy them more power to them. Lord knows I like movies that most people likely haven't even heard of anymore like the 1953 Titanic movie, the Lion in Winter, Roster Cogburn and the Lady or the Thin Man series.

If you recall in my original post I stated that we all didn't have to like the same things or find the same things funny and that if others liked it more power to them... That's more restating what was in my original post.

Yeah, but you yourself said that your tastes are different, and I'm willing to bet that includes different from the haters who have been so stupidly campaigning against the movie.
