Description A little fan art of Erin, my favorite Ghostbuster from the latest movie, getting seriously slimed! Seriously, Erin getting hit by slime in one way or another is my favorite running gag in the movie. From simply stepping in slime to being completely covered in the stuff! She even says "I swear this stuff has it out for me personally. That's all I'm saying!"

It would be awesome if the slime dissolved her clothing.

But if it dissolves into her body or bloodstream, it could in someway mutate her, maybe give her strange powers.

Very cute!

I still haven't seen it yet ... seems like it's gotten mixed reviews.  But it's Ghostbusters.

Actually, it has a certified fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The ones I've heard from friends and co-workers.  Basically the ones I care about.  Rotten Tomatoes are like like the two movie critics from the 1980s and 1990s ... Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert (I think I have that right).  They are good lads, but I often disagreed with them about movies.  They hated Tron which surprised me ... best example.  I often listen more to people like the gang off of DA, friends I'm close to, and co-workers.

Did you bother checking the reviews on it? RT collects reviews, which makes it a great site for finding reviews. Seriously, comparing it to Siskel & Ebert is a poor comparison. Those two didn't even agree on everything www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0P2L2… also worth pointing out that the new movie has Bill Murray's, Dan Aykroyd's, Ivan Reitman's, and even the seal of approval from Harold Ramis's own daughter.

Oh yes, I do know.  I watched the reviews with my Aunt Sara and Uncle Vincent back when Ghostbusters came out, especially with these two.  I do remember that they didn't like it either which was the start of why I stopped listening to them.  But, when you went over to someone's house  and it was on, you watched it because it was good manners.  The only reason I compare it to Rotten Tomatoes is that both sets do the same thing: critic movies.  That's all I was saying.

As to what Rotten Tomatoes said, no ... I haven't.  Like I said before, I saw that they have a 72% rating on the movie at this moment.  As I was explained, that's a pretty good rating.  Which still means nothing to me.  If you say it's worth seeing and why, then I'm more willing to listen to what you said than any paid critic.

Now, to the fact that the original cast gave it a thumbs up or their seal of approval, that speaks highly to me ... and no, I hadn't heard anything about that, but then again, I don't watch TV or watch movie previews any more.  That's because they often ruin the movie and make me go, "Well, gee ... thanks.  There's no reason to see it now."

Quick review - the villain of the story is kinda 'meh', and the the third act kinda falls apart under the weight of trying to fit too many cool visuals in.  But the cast is amazing, and almost all of us want to see more of the characters.

It's not the original Ghostbusters, but nothing else ever can be.  For all that I could go on about what they changed and why it's bad, I enjoyed watching it.  And that is probably the most important part.

That's the thing.  I don't want it to be THE Ghostbusters, but a new chapter which I did have a few friends of mine say that it was.  Most of the people I have chatted with were either not impressed with the movie (outside of the special effects) or they liked it.  That was the way it was with the Ghostbusters movie when it came out in the early 1980s.  Most people liked it.  Personally, I loved it!  Oh, I plan to watch it at some point ... I have quite the backlog of movies to get through, especially since I've gotten to not care for going to the movies to see them because of people's inability to behave.

But, this is my point ... which you helped make.  I listen to people like you who come out of the movie with your own thoughts and feelings about what you just experienced.  That is the movie review that I respect.

Mm ... from what I'm looking at it's got a 72% at the moment.
