Description
My first papercraft finally finished!I made a lot of mistakes, it's simply impossible to be precise down to the last milimeter.
I built this model, but I didn't design it!

How are you making your folds? Are you scoring the pieces before you fold them, and if so, how?
I'm just asking so I can give you some advice, if I think you need it. From what I can see there is a lot of white showing in the folds. This is common and pretty much unavoidable at times, but there are methods to make papercraft look seamless.
I adore colorless templates, they allow you to print the template on colored paper so when you make a fold you don't have to worry about any white at the seams. (As I'm sure you already know.) If you haven't I highly suggest finding a white template (aka monochrome) and print it out on your choice of colored 65 lbs card stock. (Can be purchased at most craft stores, it's just "construction paper".)
I'm sorry if you know all of this already!!!

Yeah I have to score the paper before folding, otherwise folding is completely impossible. For that I simply use my pen to make the dents. Hardly the best, but it works out nicely.
I don't like colorless templates, they just lack the surface details I like to see in the finished model. ^^ And all the models I build are vehicles and spaceships really, so a colorless one would look rather dull in the end. I don't see how any other choice of colored paper will improve anything and I have no idea if my ink printer can actually print on colored paper properly.
