Description
From Galaxy Quest, I give you the NSEA Protector, NTE-3120.One of the best Star Trek-based movies ever made.
This model is produced by Starcrafts in resin and went together really well for me.

The PROTECTOR is 1600 feet long. The movie hero model was constructed in 200 scale and measured 8 feet. Sarris' ship is supposed to be 2400 feet. I would LOVE to see a model of THAT one!
BTW the plastic kit that RW mentioned came out this week, 20th January or so.

Got the plastic version on the way as I type this.
And Sarris' ship would be interesting.

Not to my knowledge.
I think Starcrafts gauged its size based on the windows

You'd be looking at about $70 USD, plus shipping.
It's normally available through Federation Models,

but they're out of stock
Starfleet Models has it at the same price

If it helps, there is a company planning to bring out a plastic kit later on in '09.
I'll probably be building that one, too
