"Bollocks!"whew! worked super hard on this one, never tried painting highlights and shadows before, but I'm happy with how it turned out!
I really thought Banny would make a good candidate because I really wanted to focus on character expression, and well, he's pretty much just a head hahah so it saved me a lot of work XD
I almost animated smoke from his pipe but in the end that would be too much work

If you do lights & shading in Photoshop I'd recommend you to layer them with "overlay" Blend mode, it gives even more emphasis to the shape and line details owo

Wow, this is just wonderfully smooth work.
Mind you, the animated smoke efforts probably would have been interesting if a bit too labor-intensive.Β You can always get some smoke candles or a box of dry ice and do studies on smoke, fog, and mist this summer.
