when i first looked at this imaged i didn't really get the concept between the title and the photo, though i think i know where you are heading at.
technically i think this has many flaws, that is why i rated so low the technique.
it seems you used artificial light or your light source is very poor and so the light isn't well distributed, this would look better taken outside, maybe with a diffuser in the lens so the light isn't very strong with a dark background to have the same impact.
this use of light also makes the image very confusing because there are a lot of similar shades of gray and very little contrast. the fact that the mask is mirror like contributes for this visual confusion, because it has a lot of shines and shadows, so it makes it harder to know where to put the camera and what is behind the photographer for it not to interfere with the final image.
the way you framed the subject is good, we can see all you want us to see, the mask, the surrounding sheet and the hands and i also think the pose works well.
i think you had the vision, it just needs some technical adjustments that you will get with practice.

yeah well, I had a new zebra mask shipped here, but I got a mask from the show dralion from Cirque du soleil, and that is a pretty cool looking mask! A friend posed in it and I have those pictures up under monster

this mask, that's one of those chinese ones from Ebay I think, now that I see it better? I had a few, but gave them to victoria, the didn't really fit well on my face, especially in the nose department
