"Dance for me~!!"

These seem to be coming out when they come out, but it's fun to draw them just cause the gijinkas I usually see are just kemonomimis, which from what I understand, actually means 'animal ears' and are humans with some animal features, like tails or the ears, usually like Nekos or my cow men. But, I'd see lots of those when I see 'gijinkas'. I found an artist that makes pretty cool gijinkas, like, I don't normally namedrop, but I really like this person's gijinkas, Meloewe . Like, how he translates some aspects of the Pokemon designs and converts it into the clothes that the person is wearing, I think it's pretty cool to see and it's something I try to put in my gijinkas.

So, I should probably explain how I came up with this design. Well, this is Maxie's Maractus. He caught it when he was in Unova, don't worry, it's not a spoiler cause when he was introduced he already had it. But, the design choice came from Castelia City being based on NYC, my mind jumped to street dancers. I've seen some of the stuff they do in real life and it's unreal, and that's coming from someone who can do the splits and put his legs behind his head, so yeah, like it's something else. I digress, the street dancer, the necklace is actually an item that I made in my made-up region, the item basically ups the power of base type attacks, but it changes types based on the Pokemon holding it. It's kinda OP, but Maxie only really uses it in contests because Maxie's a Pokemon Coordinator, so, he doesn't do too much competitive battling.
