The amazing, I am so in love with YCH that did. Scenes are the hardest thing for me to think up and when I do I always struggle to explain them to others without a chapter but this, this one was absolutely perfect for their story.

After being injured Tsubame struggled to decide if she could still be a good Shinobi as she had avoided fully developing her kekkei genkai. It was shocking she could use what she did because she had never trained like the few others of her Clan with it. When she lost the sight in her one eyes trying futally to protect her teammate it was her only chance if there was not to much damage of returning. The Hokage, her Sensei, Hinata and Neji all convinced her to give it a try. Neji volunteered in what free time he had to work with her knowing he could see if the eye was to damaged and if she was controlling her chakra enough to sustain the use.

For months Tsubame struggled horribly with headaches and growing weak from prolonged use of her gift. At first Neji pushed her being slightly hard her in training but as he watched her struggle and talked with his own Sensei Gai he learned to adapt his training for her. He also got to know her better and really started to see just how hard she was trying and wanted this even with all the pain and struggles. He had known the young woman for a good part of his life but like so much he had ignored her after his Father's death. With this he it was like he was getting to know her for the first time and could see why his cousin could easily be friends with her. Eventually he found himself enjoying the training and her company. Even as she got better he found himself being watchful and protective as Tsubame had a habit of literally giving it all and passing out from over using her gift.

This is a scene I can image from her training where she has gotten frustrated but trying to be strong she fights behaving in a way she fears he might see as weak. Tsubame still feels lost and unsure of what anyone should expect of her. The thought of behaving like a normal young woman that is overwhelmed scares her because what if those supporting her decide she is to soft, then she would have to give up her dream or struggle alone. But what she has to learn to see is past her fear to the fact that he believes in her and wants to see her succeed. This is one of the first moments that both of them completely miss that things are changing and growing between them. It will take longer for either to notice.
