Umeka will be a Civilian Suna OC that will be my second pairing with Gaara to have fun with a) pairing him with a Civilian but also b) a different personality to my first OC with him.

Her full bio is to come and this is a ref. for her older and no this would not be her work clothing and not sure yet what her clothing style will be other then I love the colors in this outfit. Perhaps I can alter the top so it is not so daring.

She is confident and a little sassy, but all heart and patience. She has worked hard to get to her position at work and because of that she believes in herself. If people ask her about her name as it is a rather obvious name being "plum flower" she will smile and simply say well my parents liked the obvious, I have purple hair and am a girl so Mom thought it worked. She will likely be a medic or a teacher but that I will have to figure out later.

Appearance: Umeka stands a comfortable 5’5” tall and at a healthy weight of 120 lbs that see keeps by keeping a daily workout to maintain her own health. Umeka takes care of her appearance feeling that no one can have confidence in a Doctor that cannot even keep her own health and appearance up. At home and in her own time she will keep her hair down or in a ponytail but at work it is worn in a long braid, unless in surgery then she will put it up in a bun to set it under her surgical cap.
Umeka has a muted variation of her Mother’s darker purple hair and started growing it out at about the age of 7. Her green eyes she gets from both of her Parents. Her skin is tan but not overly dark. If she gets to spend extra time in the sun she will darken even more.
She spends a great portion of her day in her work clothes, tan pants that are tight and buttoned at the ankles with a fitted waist and a causal loose fitting tunic style top. When not at work she dresses in whatever she feels comfortable in. At times this can be rather flirty though she tends to travel around the Village with the traditional over robe and scarf when going place to place. She is just as comfortable in a dress as she is in comfortable pants and a shirt. She figures she earns the right working the long hours she does to be comfortable in whatever she feels like.

Personality: Umeka is confident and often bold, both which have lended her to asking the right questions and getting noticed as she came up through the Medical ranks. There are those that find her blunt honesty hard to deal with but Umeka makes short work of any protests that her time is precious and lives could be in danger so she does not have time to dance around the point. Now do not get it wrong, she can definitely be sassy but that is reserved for outside of work or with those she trusts.
Trust is something that she can sometimes struggle with, when she does trust you after you have proven you intentions she is a loyal and dedicated friend. As a youth she could be very secretive but she has outgrown that though there are few that can keep a secret as well as she can.
Umeka thrives under pressure which is why even though she did not pick the Shinobi life she did strive to learn medical nin. She had the chakra control in the academy and the challenges of learning along with the prospect of the challenges of going out into the field were very attractive to her. Come the time of the Fourth Great War she already had her team assembled and dove all in to work to save as many lives as they could. She is also one that never see her education as through always hungry for more knowledge that might make a difference in saving lives and raising quality of life for her patients. Her teachers and mentors will joke with her that enthusiasm is going to be the death of her.

Umeka has a special soft spot for children. She is not a full time Pediatric Doctor but she is more than happy to take shifts when they need help.

Umeka might have started the Academy torn between being a Shinobi or being a Doctor. She was an alright, average at best student that never really stood out to anyone. After classes she would often go to the Hospital to study and follow her Mother around as she worked. Even when shooed away because of emergencies she would hide so that she could watch. The more time she spend watching her Mom work the more she realized that she wanted to save lives more then take them. Never wanting to be one to miss an opportunity to learn she completed and graduated from the Academy but selected not to join a team. In her normal manner she explained the spot was better given to someone that was better and had their heart in it. She immediately jumped into training to become a Doctor. Unlike the Academy here she shined.

Umeka had for so many years picked her Mother's brain to learn as much as she could without having hands on that she was already well versed in the general knowledge she really just needed hands on. She would learn quickly that knowing what, when and how things should be done did not always translate to the hands on experience.   This did nothing to discourage the strong willed Umeka as she enjoyed the challenge of working to navigate the unknown. In truth her confidence was shaken a few time but she knew from talking to her Mom that the mark of a good Doctor was never to let it be seen if it was because the patient had to have full belief that you were in control even when dealing with the unknown.

Her Father was a little disappointed when she decided to take the same path as her Mother but he supported her choice. He believed that her confidence, personable, sassy and bold personality would help her move through a profession that was in some ways just as challenging as taking the Shinobi path. He also believed that the Village could always use more Medics.

Umeka would choose to learn one thing that her Mother did not know, because she had already learned to control her chakra in the Academy when given the chance to learn Medical Nin she took it. It was another valuable tool she would have to help save lives.

Moving through her training quickly she was allowed with two other students to start their internship earlier than expected. It was in her internship that she learned just how much she loved being a Doctor. The Emergency care and clinic were her favorite as they always offered unknowns and puzzles but to the surprise of many she also took to the challenges of working with children. This did not start well as she had little experience with them having no siblings but once she stopped looking at them as little adults and more as little treasured challenges that you can bond with closely once you solve she found her stride.

On occasion since she had taken to Medical Nin classes she would be called to travel as a Medical Nin.
