I wanted to try something more graphic, with just a black & white design (excluding eye and tongue).I always loved crows, the way they fly, the way they walk on the ground. They are very clever creatures.
There are many nests on the trees where i'm living, and sometimes I can see many crows dancing on the sky.
Slowly.

J'adore ce style graphique (même si j'adore aussi le style couleur) et je soutiens, à Lyon il y a beaucoup de corbeaux. C'est sympa sauf quand on vient de voir "les oiseaux" et qu'on les voit s'installer sur les toits des voisins par la fenêtre °_°

Oh man, I love crows too! Crows and sparrows are probably my top favorite native birds around here. Except that my neighborhood has a lot of crows. I collect crow feathers when I find them, those long wing feathers.
This picture looks really cool! I think it would make a great tattoo design. You did a great job on keeping the colors simple and yet add all these details in design, capturing the essence of a crow. My favorite parts are the head, feet, and tail feathers.

I did another version with some red gradient on the top, and with shiny clean up.
It was hard to pick the best between the two of them. I asked many people to know which one worked the best. Here we are.
Sometimes, no need to add many FX, the flat color can express much more feels.

Our national sport (Australian Rules Football) has a team that uses the crow as their team and mascot (Adelaide Crows). I don't support their team but they would absolutely adore this design!
