Description
A lot of people on Facebook requested me to draw a platypus. So here it is.I did just one single sketch and it worked very well so I kept going, as simple as that.
It was very quick to make. So surprising.
It's probably one of my favourite of the Animal Style serie.
Strange, isn't it ?

The Aussie in me is crying with joy at the moment, a wonderful depicition of an animal that best represents the key points to all Australian animals: Weird, intriguing, self-curious and deadly. Yes, even the humble platypus is poisonous and can kill a human if incorrectly handled.
A common Australian belief is that the existence of the platypus is proof that God has a sense of humour.

Hey thanks ! I usually need to draw 3 or 4 different design and poses to pick the best one, but here, just one was Ok.
When we usually say that the first idea is often the best one, here it's damn so true. Surprising.
I think i'll keep going on unknown animals.... so much designs to explore.
