Description
Hmm, I had a headache due to the stress and rigor of AP art last semester (so why am I taking it again?!?!) and I was supposed to come up with "new, original ideas" or whatever. My teacher kept bugging me to "brainstorm!!" so I did.I cut my head open, scooped my brain out, then slapped it onto a canvas. Within a week parasites developed on the rotting tissue of the brain and within another week they have evolved into highly sophisticated and/or rabid and dangerous organisms capable of swallowing a human being in one bite.
Then I decided to upload this onto dA but the digital camera wouldn't cooperate, so I scanned the huge canvas six different times and painstakingly pieced the six pictures together in photoshop. The result is a really bad image of the original painting. Oh well.
Now my brain hurts

What a wonderfuly imaginitive creation!
While traditional may not be much harder... it certainly is more costly... That's why I went with Pen&Ink as my medium of choice! (next to photography that is)
You're certainly doing an awesome job though. Keep up the work!

Haha, thanks! Well, I don't think traditional is that much harder than digital. Someone with as much skill as you should be very good at traditional too!
The painting is about 18"x24".

Bizarre and striking creation. I really like the design and expression of the creature. Disturbing imagery.

I like the idea...
Though I think it would suck to meet one of those guys face to face.
But nonetheless, good job.
