Holy crap I got this game for my birthday in 2003 and it is now 2011 and I still play it! Its really fun!! I always loved Sphinx!!

I know that Sphinx is a God, and thus Immortal, But is he supposed to be like a Teenager? He and Tutankhamen look to be the same age, and Tut died when he was eighteen to nineteen years old. Just Curious is all.

I think they chose for him to look young to fit the idea of him being Imhoteps apprentice. However, I'm sure the main reason for it was to attract kids(and the girls,me included) to the game.

now that u mention it he does look about 18, ive never applied a age to him before. He is a demi-god so maybe he is mortal, i dont know but it'd b awsome to be a teenager forever

I know I'm a year late to say anything but I just have to say something.
I've never played this game but I really want to. I saw this game in stores and I was so tempted to buy them but that was at the time where I was buying Jak & Ratchet games and then when I tried to go back for Sphinx, it was gone! So sad about that. It just looked like a fun game and I love platformer-type games hehe.
And I'll be honest... Sphinx sure was a smexy character and your fanart proves the point of that. I love the posture you did him in and the coloring looks top notch. Really nice picture and sorry for the long comment.

Well, looks like Ebay is on my next list. I've gotta find that game! Not only because Sphinx is so smexy *drool* Ahem! But because I do love games with great stories and have platformer-type qualities. And I had a feeling it was very underrated because I don't even remember seeing anything about the game on tv. = /

I was thinking this same anatomy....And maybe kinda flirting to the viewer or being in a defence mode (like when the creatures are sneaking behind him and he just twist his shoulder slowly, to tell you his under attack...) Yeah, something like...which is easy and comfortable to do?

Man he is soo freaking sexy!!! Im drooling!Somehow I guess this is the only fictional male character that I consider as attractive and curious on his personality above all the male characters that I met in many other games! >_~
Eurocom had about 100 concept of Sphinx and one of them he was suppose to be a female...O.o! I only recuperate about 4 of him and 11/12 sheets of the comic that represents part of the sequel 
Can ya draw some more??!!! I really want to see the fans more activated by drawing more of Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy!!!

ive wanted to draw more sphinx drawings for a while, i even have a few cartoon ideas (similar to my jak and daxter cartoons) but unfortunately havent found the time to do them due to uni

read the info on the link and my hopes have been sparked again, also watched video and imagined what sphinx the sequel would look like in todays graphics...imagine if the graphics were on par to halo 3
