Generator Rex: Among my current favorites to watch right now. ^^

For those who don't know, Rex is made by the Man of Action group who made Ben 10. Its brand new, only on its third episode as of last night, and so far I think it blows away Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Alien Force, and just by-passes the original Ben 10 as far as how good the show is to me. With Ben 10, the original was fun and entertaining but besides Gwen at certain points when the story focused on her, I really just liked the aliens, not even Ben just his aliens. After the first few episodes of Alien Force, while I still enjoyed watching some of the episodes, it just wasn't the same as they had changed it so drastically from what they started off with. The aliens didn't bother me, but the characters and how they were being written and, in some cases redisgned (coughcoughGwencoughVilgaxcough) just made the show not as good.

So far, Gen Rex is pounding Ben 10 in characters, in the kick ass machines Rex creates, in monsters, even storyline sounds better. And one thing that it has that Ben 10 now lacks is a plot and lots of character development. It can be argued Ben 10 has those but plot is stagnit between the alien hunter and Ben's celebrity status (Ben is worse then Tony Stark -.-) and character development seems to be going in the opposite direction, degrading the character back to how they used to be when they were 10.
