Description
A fun layered piece. Mixed media with stacked layers. I used foam and cardboard to add depth to the layers.Related content

Oh very nice ^^ I love the idea of using 3D perspective mixed between real objects and 2d materials

Thanks. It ended up being a bit more work than I thought when I came up with the project. I have some others in mind for someday.

I was thinking about doing something like that, layered pieces are popular lately. I've seen few people do it.
Anyway great work. I love how this dragon stands out among that green.

A youtuber did one a year ago November and set off a chain reaction. I have been wanting to do one since then. I have another couple in mind but they are not in the que. Thanks. I had not thought about him being a complementary color when i picked those. I was mostly thinking that I had not done a red dragon in awhile.

I actually do that as well sometimes. xD I'm like 'hmmm I haven't made green dragon in a while', but I do plan out the color scheme a little bit, so it won't turn into a colorful mess.

Yeah sometimes I do more than others. It depends on the piece. With this one I made a bunch of different thumbnails but they were all different things. But from the thumb nail I knew the composition would work fine. I did not do extensive planing or experimenting with this one. Kind of a dry run proof of concept so I have a better plan next time. (I have an idea for one with an underwater scene. )
Here is the video BTW. I enjoy this artist. It is one of the ones I watch/listen to while I work on art.
